Samsung Galaxy S2 - The old deal's back again on Dialaphone £327.99
Dialaphone seems to lower the price now, so that hot deal two weeks ago is back on again. I just copy and paste below:
Cheapest way yet to get the Galaxy S2 handset sim free .
Recently dropped to £9.99 for the handset at dialaphone on the O2 100 mins contract.
Cancel the 500mb internet bolt on (£6/month).
Cancel the gadget helpline.
Cancel the phone insurance.
Downgrade the tariff after the minimum time of 9 months to the next lowest (make a note in the diary!)
Contract cost:
£9.99 (initial cost)
£21.5 * 1 (first month)
£15.5 * 11 (next 11)
£10.5 * 12 (last 12)
--------------------
£327.99
- 50 (Quidco/TCB matched)
--------------------
= potentially £277.99 for the handset!
Handily spread over 24 easy payments. Don't think of this as a 24month contract. Just consider the overall handset cost.
Handset should come UNLOCKED and UNBRANDED.

Maybe it might be wise to wait till Cashback is paid before removing the internet bolt on? That will mean paying for the internet for another couple of months, but shouldn't risk losing the cashback.
Even without the cashback though, £312 is a very good price.
I talked to Dialaphone about this as well. They said that it was perfectly fine with them, they don't have a problem with you downgrading the contract. The only thing that they did say was, there is no guarantee that you will be able to downgrade the tariff after the 12 months, O2 can withdraw the offer whenever. Not sure if there is any truth in that. :D
That is true, however the bolt-on is an extra not a part of the price plan.

If it was for the iphone 4 or 4S it might be worth while.
Voted cold due to the poor phone on offer and the hassle of getting this :(

Lol Classic.
If it was for the iphone 4s I'd be buying them all day long to sell to the sheep on ebay! X)
Edit: just realised the hassle involved. Forget it!

Because it a £60-£80 saving!oO
It's only such a big saving with cash back which is not certain even without the fical merchant and messing with the contract.

However, if any of you are Virgin media customers, it might be worth your while calling to see what you can get with them. I managed to get an S2 from them on a 12month contract for £14.99 per month. Free handset, yes. Total cost will be £179.88 all in on that one .. however, it is a crappy bundle, only 100min, 100txt and 500mb (includes the 3000 virgin to virgin min) ... I don't use text or make phone calls that much so I can live with that. (That deal was on a rolling £6odd a month sim I have with them)
I also managed to get another one, but on 24month contract, free handset, same minutes etc but for £15.00 a month (£15.33 if I'd not added the 3000 virgin to virgin minutes - huh?) .. bit less of a better deal yes. (That one was on my wifes contract which was due for an upgrade anyhow.)
Point is, if you're a customer it might be worth a call to them. (And no, I don't have the top of the range packages with them hehe.. I've got like the base freeview stuff pretty much with call packages is all)
then ask for a different phone as a replacement.(they have a 3 strike policy for (this.)
(just kidding btw).

mmm. might give that a try. I already have the s2 and im sure it would be good for my dad as well at that price.
Purchased on Friday at previous price though :| Can't wait to get my hands on it - currently trapped in the Post Office...
