Pay & Go: Get amazing Take That content right on your phone, including an exclusive version of the Kidz video and behind the scenes footage. We'll keep adding more Take That surprises to the app, so be sure to update it as the Progress tour approaches.

I think we've got a winner.

Anyone know if this is available instore too and when stock might be available instore?

Thanks!
#17
how do you unlock it? I can't find anything on their website. Do you think it will have a load of o2 bloatware on it and even an o2 logo on the casing? - Don't forget £10.10 topcashback as well (it will pay for the unlock!)

Nah...

The HTC HD2 is the best phone in the world at the moment.
What other phone can run Andriod, Windows Mobile 6.5, Windows Phone 7, Ubuntu and if it floats your boat Windows 95.
It'll even run Winphone 7 from Nand and Andriod from SD. Or win 6.5 from Nand , Andriod from SD, or Andriod in Nand.

Out of contract on my HD2 now and I'm still struggling to find it's replacement.

No really complaining, I think this is a good deal. I was wondering if these deals were not allowed how long it would take them to remove it.

Given it's not officially available until Sunday from anyone other than P4U I would very much doubt it given it can take time for them to edit the software and apply locking etc. Hopefully the early batch will be BLOAT free :)

If not and it has some bad banding/bloatware they have a 14 day returns policy and you'll have to pick it up SIM free from CPW etc for around £100 more.

LOL. Just because a phone can run lots of O.S' doesn't mean its a great phone, i'd rather have an ace phone with latest android on it. dual core 1.2ghz, 1080p recording, hdmi, 8mp etc, its a beast of a phone. Suprised its only £400, normally flagship phones are £470+ at launch time.

They get the phones to tinker with for some time before they are released.

I ordered a S2 earlier today. T-mobile £25.53/month for 600mins/500 texts/500mb data, 24 months + £30 for the handset = £643.

This (@£400) + 2 x12 month contracts at let say £10 a month (granted, more minutes for money) = £640.

Still a hot deal (got the galaxy S for £330 on PAYG originally) but if your going for a contract anyway and especially if you can wait a little, I suspect the S2 contract deals will only get better.

Bare in mind that gingerbread also has Voip/SIP available in the framework, which means its a piece of cake to setup VOIP on these phones to save your anytime minutes for mobile usage instead.

Edit : for anyone interested, its a remarkable improvement over the galaxy S (which sets the bar high!), enough in my case to justify buying it.

Yeah I understand that. O2 bloating isn't generally that bad from past experience (loading screens etc). Still as I use giffgaff so even the SIM lock wouldn't bother me.

Cex pay £303 for this phone. So could be worth £27 if you don't like it. (Assuming it is unlocked and 16GB)

Bar the quality of the materials the SGS2 seems to be shaping up to be the better phone.

I'm impressed by the camera, my LG Optimus 2X camera is not as well designed of and performance is weak!
