Phones are usually Simfree from E2Save

12 months with talk mobile
200 mins
1000 texts
Unlimited data

£309.99 upfront

http://www.e2save.com/mobile-phone/contract/Samsung-Galaxy/Samsung-Galaxy-S2/GALAXYS2.html?tariffcode=O05YEJUN09

Go to Talk Mobile tab and 12months

Can get £46 with quidco

So could work out at about £505

considering this phone simfree is currently £500 not bad for a contract at about the same price which is only 12 months

Phone is due first week of May

Just as I'm looking for a new contract... dammit. Up front cost is prohibitive though :S but it is an epic bargain considering the price of the phone

I think its a really good deal.
upfront cost is what probably why its a little cheaper but for a trusted company i think its worth it
and most stuff from e2Save is already simfree anyways.

Seems like a good price to me. Good find.

Heat added but for some reason whichever deal i attempt to add heat to the figure remains the same and the option is then greyed out...this happens on every deal...

For an extra £20 over the 12 months (phone costs £40 less but monthly goes up by £60 over 12) you can get another 100 minutes per month. This is the deal I have been planning on getting.

that website description says "•Enjoy the incredible speed of the outstanding Dual-Core 1GHz processor" what happened to the 1.2GHz it was supposed to have?

it was probably done when the phone was announced and not updated
Samsung are not shipping any 1GHz so nothing to worry about

It's a 12 Month Talk Mobile deal, not T-Mobile.
Talk Mobile is Carphone Warehouse's own network.

Phone is £494 SIM free via Carphone warehouse!

Commendable that it is available on a 12 months contract because I think anything more is a real arm twister from the networks and a sorry direction to be heading in. They all phased out 12 months in favor of 18, then 24 in favor of 18..and now I'm seeing sites starting to offer 36 month contracts! The carrot is initially more minutes and texts over a shorter contract, but eventually they revert to offering less minutes. I remember 'not too long ago' a £35 per month over 12 months would get you the most expensive phone around for free. I reckon we should all reject the carrot and stay on shorter term contracts or go PAYG which..just seems like there's no incentive anymore over what you can get on PAYG (savings can go into buying something offline - I always pick phones up on gumtree or ebay as unwanted presents or upgrades for half the price too) that way..you get the minutes and phone you want without being contracted :)

FYI there's supposed to be a Galaxy S2 Mini due out soon too. Speculation is that it will be the same sort of size as the HTC Desire and iPhone, which most people think is about the right size for smart phone before they started the screen size rat race. Won't feel like you're holding a tablet computer each time you pick it up! Specwise it shouldn't be far off either..talk is that it will come with a dual core processor and the amoled screen.

£550 for 12 months, seems steep to me...!! This T-Mobile deal seems way better to me.... plus a few quid cashback via quidco too...

http://www.buymobilephones.net/mobile-phones/Samsung/Samsung-Galaxy-S-II-Free-Line-Rental-Discount/T-Mobile/T-Mobile-30-%2824mths%29-inc.-Internet/9637501?adnetwork=af

5 months half-price line rental by redemption
900 minutes and 500 texts per month
Average line rental after cash back equivalent to: £27.45
Total contract cost over 24 months: £658.80
Free Handset

Ive had 2 phones each year on cashback deals for past 6 years, and never had any problems..

Im out of contract on my iphone, now paying £10 month for 500 mins, 500mb internet and unl texts with tesco.. so even sim free phone at £500 + 2 years @ £240 is more expensive than contract...

Thats based on cashback and its over 24 months, personally thats a much poorer offer to me.

I'd hate to be stuck in a contract for 2 years. Added to that, this deal is cheaper anyway, you just dont get the extra year for £100 more (potentially more if you dont claim back). Once the 12 months is up, this phone will still be worth quite abit, so you wouldnt lose much on it if you decided to sell (based on the prices of the first Galaxy S).
#27
Same price for me... :S
#28
Guys, it's not at £434 it's not expired...

Unexpired - Phone cost does state £434, however if you scroll down and select Talk Mobile, and then all Talk Mobile tarrifs, it comes up at £309.99, for all those interested in this deal.

Depends how you look at total cost of ownership really... I would be happy with the handset for 2 years (like my 3gs), so may as well get the best deal I can, that gives me the minutes I need... 200 mins is nowhere near enough.. and the 2nd year with this deal could cost you £10+ a month.

So this deal is £505 for year 1, what about year 2, best deal Ive seen is the one Im on, Tesco rolling month for £10 a month... so thats £625 over 2 years.. so for the extra £30, you are getting over double the amount of talktime in the first year, and I think quidco gives you £30 back for this deal, so that cancels that out really..

Even getting the phone sim free @ £500 is a more expensive option when you consider your service costs over a 2 year period...

Not exactly moneysaving but this is a great deal not sure why it's cold?

This is only a 12 month contract after that you look elsewhere, get a new phone.
Plus TalkMobile is unllimited BB within AUP(no tethering/VOIP/streaming)

Its just the way it is with this site.
If one person votes cold so will 10 others without reading.
But it doesnt matter im sure a few have benefited

Someone posted the same deal on a sister site the next day and its hot
