If anyone can point out a better deal - please tell me. Still have time to cancel this one.

People don't usually like retention deals with mobile phone contracts/digital television services as they are hard to verify and and depend on which employee you have spoken to so automatically vote cold. Could go artcic in here! (I'm unsure about retention deals so not voting either way!)

However I think they have offered you a cracking deal especially as it's only a 12 month contract.

Its a retention deal not an O2 deal, I have the same for 37 a month with no cost for phone.

It depends who you speak to etc on the phone

for me its cold as it was individually offered to you

12 months too? If so I need to negotiate better...

I tried to get a good deal with o2 on this phone via retentions. But it looks like being a customer for 10 years means nothing to them. So I left. Good deal for you mate but you was obviously was licking the right a** to obtain it.

sounds like a good deal to me why so cold?

All they offered me was:

12 month contract.
£37 per month
300 minutes + 200 additional minutes = 500 minutes
Unlimited Text messages
500MB Data
25 picture messages

Phone cost: £149.99

The did offer me at £37 but the lady gave me an additional £5 discount to make it £32

I don't know why they offered me such a good deal, I've only been with O2 since 2007 and have very low spend of about £20 a month.

Guess I got lucky.

the additional £5 is a royalty discount. Ask for it.

I think this is a good deal and you are paying less than me having just purchased this phone for £328 and £25 p/m Simplicity - have a little heat from me.

Sadly retentions are all over the place, there are some people who arnt being offered the the decent handset prices let alone a decent 12 month contract aswell.

My contract expires at the end of May and i'd be happy to get this deal. I would prefer to keep my monthly spend to around £25 but for 12 months i'd take up this deal and i can go simplicity after. Here's hoping they offer me the same if not better deal. The only bad thing is it's a retention deal and is subject to who you talk to at 02.

Royalty? Are you part of the Monarchy? How was the wedding? LOL X)
Just kidding i know you meant loyalty.
