£26.25 per month after redemption

just looking at upgrade options and found this deal at Mobiles.co.uk

Samsung Galaxy S2
Vodafone (upgrade only)
24 month contract
600 any network mins (Edit: From 300 mins I put by mistake)

Unlimted texts
500mb Internet
Vodafone passport

£35 pcm for 24 months but 12 months are half price via redemption. Makes it £26.25 per month.

For a new phone of this spec I was anticipating it to be £40. I'm sure proper Techy Terry's will put the detail right but it has:

Dual core processor,
4.3" Super AMOLED Plus screen,
8mb camera
1080p video

Quidco is also available at £50. If That was to come off then it would be just under the £24.25 mark.

I don't get this website sometime, you try and give a general heads up and you just get slated for it. I'm looking for anew deal soon, will be looking at this I think, unless there are better out there that people know about whcih I guess is the case as they're voting it cold?!

This phone looks like its going to wipe the floor with everything currently in its path and in the near future. Dual core, FULL high def video recording and a screen that makes the iPhones retina display look like poop. At £26 a month (even if it is 24 month) surely its a bargain.

300 minutes is a bit short though considering the tariff...

Thanks for the replies folks. I thought it was a good deal. I saw the S1 on here at 200 degrees at £18 pm so the S2 seems a great deal at £26.25

Must be the cashback bit that puts folks off but most people have said good things about mobiles.co.uk. I've gone for it so fingers crossed.

must be the cashback...............this phone is the dogs wobblers

Dont you mean the offer of
Samsung Galaxy S2
Vodafone (upgrade only)
24 month contract
600 any network mins (not the 300 as quoted)
Unlimted texts
500mb Internet
Vodafone passport

If this is right it is an absolutely stonking deal, with a SUPERB camera, gets fantastic reviews.
If i wasnt already in a contract with Orange i would go for this deal like a shot !!!!!

There was talk of Samsung not being able to produce enough of their own dual core processors for this phone so were going to use the Tegra or some other chip for certain markets.

This should be super hot! Awesome phone. Hands down the best/fastest smart phone currently available.
Personally waiting the LG Optimus 3D to get released next month before upgrading. Slightly faster than the S2 due to better GPU plus the added bonus/fad of 3D. Will output HD 3D movies directly to 3D TV's via it's HDMI port.

Maybe if the title read 'iPhone 5' instead, it would be on fire!

Hot. Not sure why there are so many cold votes.
Must be the Apple fan boys.
#13
Hot.
I don't think the cold voters realise what sort of phone this is.

I'm not on Vodafone, but if such a deal were to be provided by T-Mobile for me I'd take it.
#14
Could you get this deal by getting a Voda PAYG sim and then "upgrading" from that? Cold or not this is the best pre-order deal for this handset....
#15
Considering at the moment most of the Galaxy S deals are at £30ppm without any discounts, this is a cracker. Better screen, faster CPU, NFC chip, HDMI... I totally don't get the cold votes.

Would get it if I wasn't on a contract already. I guess I'll just have to buy this phone SIM free.

This is the best phone out there and will be the best for the duration of the year and into next!

A great offer here. Shame it is for 24 months and on Vodafone. However I've had my HTC Hero now for 18 months plus 3 months rolling and this is the best phone to get. So maybe it will be the same situation 21 months down the line thus a 24 month contract will be the best plan to go for in the end and not an 18 month one like I wanted.

Where did you hear this? Pretty sure the galaxy s2 wipes the floor with the competition when it comes to processing power

http://www.androidguys.com/2011/04/14/samsung-galaxy-s2-benchmark-results-3000-quadrant/

I was considering the LG but after hearing about the EVO 3d the choice is surely the S2 or the evo. S2 has best processor and sAMOLED+ and evo has 3d qHD display and both have 1gb ram (lg has only a pitiful 512mb)

Check out the new Voice Talk feature with this phone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tyfxEl22Ac

Simply amazing. Won't be long before Apple copy it's features and release them in it's next phone then call themselves ground-breaking and innovative as they've done since the very start of the smartphone war.

galaxy s2 rips the competition, check the above site for facts,

The Galaxy S2 is out May 1st (phones4u will release on 27 Apr), it will be the king of superphones for a while yet: Most powerfull 1.2 Dual core CPU/GPU combo (yes much better than HTC Sensation), Thinnest phone in the world (8.49mm compared to the Sony Arc 8.7mm and Iphone 4 (around 9.2mm i believe), Best screen tech in the world (exclusive to Samsung - Super Amoled Plus) see below:

MHL which is micro USB/HDMI in one, and lets you control the phone through a remote of a MHL enabled tv, Wifi direct - access your phone through wifi and any browser, the list is extensive, check out the comparison to its nearest competitor that was anounced today (the HTC Sensation):

The SGS2 is an amazing phone, 1080p recording check out the video comparison here (click the comparison tool at the bottom to compare videos with iphone 4 and Nokia N8 - also youtube has many other SGS2 1080p samples):

3d capabilities here:

many youtube videos detailing amazing things like motion control zoom in-out, face recognition lock screen, front cam is 2mp, better than most phones back camera,NFC, Gorilla Glass, etc...basically think of a feature and the SGS 2 will probably have it.

No NFC inside S2's in the UK!
