  I ordered 2 of these from amazon.de, both delivered from Milton Keans UK both thieved by city-link couriers, mind the empty phone boxes made great Christmas presents for my youngest son, ordered on the 15th December and i had to wait until 24th for amazon to except it had been "lost" then on the 24th they promised me it would be sent out on the 24th, & i would get it on the 27th,then they charged me for the second phone they sent out so i had to spend almost a day on the phone to get a refund. then on the 27th the replacement was sent out not delivered as had been promised. then it missed the delivery hub what ever that is, sitting around the city link depot for 2 days, then sent out to my local branch on the 29th, finally delivered on the 2nd January, what a relief well no, i noticed the security tags had been tampered with so i did not open the package, me & the wife took it to our local branch of city-link and got them to open the package just to find an empty box. another day on the phone and we got our money back, as amazon refused to send out a replacement, so the wife went to car phone warehouse and they priced matched the amazon phone. and we got the box & the phone first time, no hassle, do yourself a favor try a local shop first ask them to price match it could save you quite a bit of time. and your local police force too, as i had to make someone pay for spoiling my sons Christmas and amazon could not give a stuff.

  I think what happens is Amazon.de (or .fr, .es, .it) ship the item internally to Amazon UK, who then dispatch it into the UK postal system. I've had this before with .fr-exclusive Blu-rays, where they arrive in UK packaging but the item isn't available over here.

  not long now to the next gen handset. should see these drop in price significantly. also contracts with this phone don't cost that much more so could potentially be better value for others.

  I'd settle for a 32GB nexus although if there was a 64 GB version on offer I'd probably go for that. All I want is a decent amount of storage and software updates for 2-3 years. I think my best bet at the moment is Samsung but I'm going to wait a couple for months for CES and MWC to see what other devices can tempt me and maybe by then there will be more concrete Galaxy S4 rumours. I just hope my Desire can hold out a few more months til it's 3rd birthday, i've just put jelly bean on it but the screen is a little small compared to modern hardware.

  I would have agreed with you and own a 64GB micro sdhc. However, Google Music, personal and third party cloud storage, etc. means that the space really isn't needed any longer and I don't miss the space one bit. I've got 4.75GB free on my 16GB Nexus 4 and I've got plenty of storage hogs installed (Bard's Tale, NFS Most wanted). I do think the 8GB model is pushing it too far except for the most mumsy of users.
