A colleague ordered one of these in red the other week when they were £375, and it arrived with no problems, is identical in build quality to my UK bought version and when booted up was running Build: IMM76D.I9300XXBLG8 (Stock UK Firmware).

Completely ill informed comment. As other people have stated in this thread. The quality is exactly the same. I imported an Galaxy Note II with no problems. Build is the same. Quality is the same. The only difference is I don't have the sound on my device artificially limited to comply with European legislation.
what a load of rubbish. Its the same phone. Great price.
There's actually 2 versions of the S3 out at the moment
The NA/JP Model and the Worldwide version,
I can imagine the case/screen is identical though
