Smarttfone Store seems to have dropped the price of this. Grade A is now £359. An unlocked version only costs £10 more. And as usual grade B is £10 cheaper.

I can vouch for this retailer, they are excellent. Also, if you work in central London, they will hand deliver it to you! My wife works in Holborn and got her IPad delivered to her desk by one of the staff at Smartfonestore for free!

Great retailer.

As for the phone........well if you want a retro style eighties Motorola then this might be for you. I had a play with one in Tesco the other day and they are MASSIVE!

You think thats MASSIVE... you should see whats in my trousers!!

..My Galaxy Note

#4
it will still come with Samsung's 2 year Manufacture's Warranty (or what ever is left on the 2 year Warranty)

i checked the FAQ but couldn't see that, thanks for clearing it up.

Silly question - what is the advantage of buying an unlocked phone? Can I put any pay as you go SIM card in it and then use it as I wish?

If so, what's the best deal on SIMs, or are they all fairly similar (rarely see deals for those)?

yes unlocked enables you to use any sim in the phone.

Option B: get a Galaxy Tab for £199 and a ten quid phone.

So these still come in as new condition and you're able to register the manufacturer warranty with Samsung?

guys i'm thinking of going for this for my Huawei Ascend g300. Should I be worried of the fact that it's from a playtrader and not directly from play?

Doesn't seem to say what the internal storage is on the phone you'd get. I guess it'd be the 16gb version. Tempting though since the S2 new is still floating around the £300-330 mark.

I would actually be more worried if it was comming from Play.com directly. in my experience with Play.Com 50% items I order never arrive and then you try contact and them and its mission impossible.

Horrific customer service

369 now.

5 quid quidco too.

edit: weird - click on the link it says 359. Go through quidco and it appeared as 369 :-/

The link one is on the three network. The one through quidco probably took you to the unlocked one which is £10 more.

I think the link is for a locked one and the £369 is unlocked. I have just purchased the unlocked white one Grade A so I hope they are OK.

and theres always the chance it could be a cheapo fake. At this price i'd look around and get one from someone you trust. Amazon have the best customer service i know of.

Stuck a Sandisk 32gb in mine i found on there for £13 and it works a treat

My Quidco just tracked at £8 and the site says that Quidco is £5 for all orders. I aint complaining.
