Everyone else is doing this phone for £500+ on pay as you go.

I paid £359.99 for this deal on Saturday and fully expected delivery of a white samsung galaxy s5 today but instead had to chase o2 for information and it turns out its out of stock. Now I have no phone and the money is tied up for 5 days. Shocking!

They told me they were all out of stock so beware.

Excellent price. Hot.

Cracking deal. Any idea what it would cost to get unlocked so I can use on Voda
#3
Basically the pay as you go price has caught up with the Refresh (& cancel) cost.
A great price but unlocking might have to be from someone else.
Refresh & cancel gets you quick online free O2 unlocking

If you're a Pay & Go customer, your O2 mobile can be unlocked 12 months after purchase for a one-off £15 fee which we'll deduct from your airtime balance. This policy may vary according to the handset you have purchased.

I've had the S3 for 2 years now, going to buy an S5 in January, do you think the price will drop then? will they still have stock?
#14
Actually, I might get a LG G3. Any opinions on what model is better? Battery, speed and screen are important to me.

Great. Is this one of those famous O2 deals, where you undergo a credit check. Order the phone. Then wait weeks before O2 finally contact you, to tell you the phone is out of stock, and your order has been cancelled? Almost forgot the part where you contact CS before the cancellation email, to be told your order is being processed and will be dispatched shortly.

Need a crystal ball to answer those questions, unless there's some one from O2 looking on this thread that might want to answer.

Nope! Refresh total cost for me was £279. Only way to buy this phone if you ask me

LOLz OP, who on earth is selling this phone for £500+?

I guess you're talking about highstreet store websites, because this phone has been selling new for minus £400 on Amazon and Ebay for a while. I

stick with s4 no real difference

I thought the S5 Refurb at O2 Refresh for £269 was a better deal, if I'm not mistaken?

Yes that's right, all they did is is change the badge on the S4 and put S5 on it, you can compare the phones here (see link below), see the specs they just say rebadged S4, really simple, I bet more companies wished they'd thought of it like Apple for example.

£90 cheaper for a used/refurbished phone or £90 more for a new one. Both have warranty, depends whether you want refurb or new. I sell loads of refurb stuff and most is perfectly fine and if it isn't it gets the sack. So I'd always check out refurbs, and that means I'd be checking for any inherent faults that the unit might have.

Never again worst company hope O2 end up like p4u and are next to go bankrupt and sack all there uk staff worst service ever

I am stunned as to why anyone would want to pay this much money for a phone.. unless money is no object. Granted its a good deal in comparison.

True! bunch of d*** h****. I spoke to the rudest customer service last week. I have requested a copy of conversation as in recording. Spending 10 pounds to get recording but got O2 on their knees!!! They know it will be a hit on social media

I own this phone and am typing on it now. The best phone I've ever owned by some distance. Stunning screen, great battery life and fantastic camera.

Scorching deal.

Old version I belief, not a superb price but decent.

Nothing between the 2 phones if you look at the specs. Both very good.

Great phones I love mine superb price.

Typical. Just paid £300 for a refurb, albeit in mint condition.

I would never recommended Samsung's crap phones. I bought galaxy s4 mini for wife and it was faulty and had 3 phone after with same issues. Samsung customer service told me if they can't fix last one after 5th attempt they will refund me which they couldn't, when I contacted customer service they told me no they won't refund me and phone left like that, for those reasons I will never ever buy and recommend that company. goodbye samsung
