Don't Samsung's have a 2 year guarantee regardless of where you buy it from or will that be 1 year with the retailer and 1 year from Samsung?

Bought my Note 4 from Amazon Italy, and it has the 2 year warranty. And I've used it a lot.

Samsung do not honour warranty claims. They are the worst organisation I have come across.
The S6 bends, just like iphones. Samsung refuse to repair, send back in a worst condition and do nothing. The courier picked up for inspection and Samsung do not return the phone. 1 month no phone.

I have to agree, they tried charging me £160 for my phone which would not charge, they advised me they found a spec of water under a microscope - the phone was only 2 months old and went no where near water...

How can they find water under a microscope? It would evaporate in transit. Ask for evidence.

I sent Samsung a letter before action. My guess is they will not defend if you file a claim as they cannot recover costs and will not send a £2000 barrister to court.

In my case O2 will replace with a refurbished phone, if Samsung actually return the phone.
Go to the retailer.

Always buy on credit card. Take it up with retailer first before claiming on warranty. If retailer or manufacturer fail to deal with claim raise a charge back on credit card.

Yes, this is what I did. o2 said go to Samsung. Samsung are useless, so complained to o2, who were reasonable and offered a solution - if only Samsung send the phone back.

Samsung quoted £200 for repair and now claim it was an error and the phone is not economical to repair after they sent it back not working an more bent. Anovo - the contract repair centre appear dishonest.

I purchased a Galaxy S5 when it first came out. After 4 months it wouldn't make/receive calls/messages. I suspected a faulty antenna and arranged for Samsung to repair it. It was sent off for repair but came back it back in the same condition. I informed SamsungUK that as they were unable to repair the phone they should replace it under their Warranty. Samsung then stopped speaking to me! I've never purchased a Samsung product since.

I've had my s5 for 2yrs now and it's been fantastic. No issues at all. I guess as long as it's doesn't break your ok. I remember when I had my iPhone 4s. had it replaced by Apple 3 times due to issues all the time from microphones not working to speakers problems and wifi issues. Don't think I'll go back.

But at least Apple replaced your faulty phone. Samsung refuses to recognise your Warranty. If it goes wrong you are on your own!

My Note 4 went back for screen burn. These guys replaced the screen with a screen with worse screen burn. To rub salt in the wounds, the screen has actually come away from the phone at the moment. They haven't reglued it or whatever needs done. I've got it held together with a rubber band until I contact them
after my hols.

Doesn't seem logical that the Samsung S6 Edge 32 GB is +370 hot from Argos and -113 cold currently when the only advantage Argos has is a £10 voucher.

Samsung warranty problems should mean the John Lewis guarantee is more valuable. :{

I contacted ScamDung last night via their Twitter account and they confirmed that they still use Anovo for their repairs so Good Luck with your claim (You'll need it!)

What do you mean the s6 bends? I've ordered an s6 to arrive today but worried now. Which phones tend to be the best to repair under warranty please?
