      Used like new?

Makes me wonder why the original owner didn't want it.
I guess something better came along.

Sent from my iPhone 5 64gb

Yes it was pretty obvious you sent it from your iPhone due to the lag.

Totally agree but like I said previously quite a few members have bought from Amazon UK used like new and they come new condition. Better than buying a second hand on gumtree etc which is guaranteed to be blocked after a few days.

No. You only get 90 day warranty which is a deal breaker for me. Shame.

Original Warranty is still valid on 2nd hand phone. A phone (or any similar device) is expected to last a reasonable amount of time and perform as expected no matter how many times it changes hands.

Spoke to Amazon customer services, confirmed verbally followed up by an email: (pasted below)

You can visit the following page for more information on Warehouse Deals policies:

      http://www.amazon.co.uk/warehousedeals

Also , all electronic items purchased from Amazon.co.uk come with a one year warranty from the manufacturer, unless otherwise stated.

We currently don't offer an extended warranty on the electronics items sold on our website. If the details on the Product Description page state that the item has a warranty greater than 12 months, then this warranty is with the manufacturer and not Amazon.co.uk. If you believe you are eligible under this warranty you'll need to contact the manufacturer directly.

I hope this helps. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

These things are dropping in price preeeettty fast. Makes me wonder if there's something new on the horizon...

There's is always something new on the horizon, and it is always best (financially) to buy the best of the last generation. You can get a new Galaxy Nexus for under £260 which still arguably betters the iPhone 5 and offers 95% of Galaxy S3 features and performance for much less money.

I wonder if Amazon are liable for 2 years under EU law for defects under retailer responsibility?

At least its cheaper and better than a Crapple.....

Totally agree, though I would much rather get the S2 over the Nexus to be honest.

My last one got stolen and I'll be buying another once my contract is up early next year. I just cant see that I'm getting much more that I would use for the extra money.

There's one on there from a private seller "used like new" for £280 odd. Too good to be true? I have a galaxy note, so sticking with that, otherwise I would be tempted. Worth a punt?

£351.70 for a USED mobile phone/mobile computer is ridiculous.

Not a hot deal imo - if this was new, then regardless of my opinion on the S3 (not a fan btw) then it woudl be hot..but second hand? Nah not worth it.

(btw I think that paying that much or more for a used iPhone is just as crazy - but at least they don't use plastic for the casing on the newer models)

edit: w/r to the warranty you should get the remainder of the 12 months manufacturer warranty with this, regardless of it being used - however that assumes that the previous owner has taken good care of it and that Amazon have not refurbished the handsets in a way that would break that warranty teams (e.g. taking it apart to clean it). Goods and Services act should cover you if the phone has not been dropped/tampered with.
