I agree
Always jubious about buying a big purchase and or electrical refurbs of Ebay never no where you stand regarding warrantys etc, The seller can always shut up shop and become another seller in a different name.
The fact that it comes from the US doesn't make the blindest bit of difference.
:)
Quite a few if you bother looking.
I take your comments with a pinch of a salt. How can you be so active on those forums and never heard those problems before. The only way that is possible is if samsung are removing posts regarding any issues with the tab.
I have had one for a while now, and never had any issues. Its gets used more than my laptop now. Like all tech, there is a percentage of the production that will fail. Happens with everything, including these tabs
:)
Hmm ...... when were they launched?
Oh, and read Digigood's feedback about selling US spec stuff and gear that doesn't work. No thanks.

In the end up it was the warranty that decided me against it. Got a very good deal on a G Tab 8.9 3G and i am more than happy with it :)

Might be a little cheap - but with no warranty its simply isn't worth it!
Xoom has more memory, a USB OTG port (without needing a silly adapter), MicroSD slot and mini HDMI out. And it's similar priced to this - and better IMO.

Probably with a purchase like this - you WILL get stung.
