how do you calculate £20 worth clubcard points

As it says on the label that you get 2k CC points when you buy this Tab.
#5
Hot from me, you may need to reword your longer formula description as its £50 not £30 cashback (You still managed to do the maths right ;-) )

Its really hot I don't know why people voted cold

Ive been looking at this deal since i saw the 7" version deal on here. i also calculated same price as you have but also with 3% topcashback as well to gain a few more pennies! does anybody have any honest opinions of how this bigger version compares to 7" version? im looking to buy this to mostly play some games on and use with sky Go for sky sports and movies.
#9
@willucas its £50 cashback for 10" tablet :)
#10
Sorry I guess what I typed could be read in two ways. It is indeed £50 cashback but I was trying to say was that the creator has put £30 in the bottom formula of the description.

It was really just a minor thing.

dont forget skygo doesnt work on android tablets yet and when it does i would go for the nexus 7" tablet for this instead. better processor and screen.

simply put, this is a true regression with respect to the original tab, wonder why a "new" tablet should have a cashback to be sold... the real new tablet from samsung is the note http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/samsung-galaxy-note-10-1-16gb-wifi-322-98-after-code-extra-clubcard-points-quidco-1314552
it's a bit shameful they didn't put a full HD screen though

Eerr, how are these two deals comparable? Your deal that you're plugging is over 50% more expensive.

sorry, I'm not comparing the deals, but the machine, this is labeled as "2" but it's a regression not an improvement as most people think. if you want something basic go for it, but it's 2010 hardware sold as 2012. that's why it's so "cheap".

Hot!!

Shame it isn't the 3G version (and the 3G version is not special offer too~~grrr)...I'd have snatched it for my mum if it had 3G:(

It's a 10 inch tablet with dual core for under £200 from a quality manufacturer. Until Google puts out a Nexus Tab 10 this seems pretty good to me.

The note is a lot more expensive for basically (as far as I can tell) adding quad core and a stylus.

I own a Galaxy Note phone and it is great but this is a steal at £200.

I bought this a few weeks ago (when written up in the earlier thread) and although the receipt (incorrectly) showed 4,000 bonus points, I did not even get the 2,000 I was entitled to and will now need to chase for them. Is that a commonr poblem ?
#26
Just spend more and get an ipad.

I purchased the same deal as you and have just checked my clubcard points and still showing the 4000. (2000 plus the error of 2000)

I got the same deal about 10 days ago. Ive just checked my points and they're all still there. 2000 plus the error of the extra 2000. Appears like this: 06/09/2012 TESCO TESCO DIRECT OR WINE £4298.00 4298

can anyone suggest a decent cover for this tab, and a screen protector ? thanks
#30
Hot deal, still can'tdecide whether to get this or the Acer Iconia A210. I was hoping Amazon might release a 10" version of the fire but it wasn't to be.

Thanks for your reply, just looked further into it with Sky and they can't give me a time frame when they will have Sky Go working on Android and its a must for me. i dont want a smaller 7" screen, but thanks for your suggestion. looks like the ipad at more cost will have to be the answer as they seem to be the ones throwing money at the apps better than android.

Just ordered one , Thanks OP

If this is good, my Ipad2 will be on ebay soon , otherwise this one will go.
#33
I'm considering this or the nexus 7, slightly different I know but any advice?
#34
Am I right in thinking this tablet takes a micro SD card (unlike the Nexus)?
#35
Hmmmmm <3

It seems that the additional 2,000 points "error bonus" has gone.

Does anyone have know whether the points get removed if a product is returned to a store with a Tesco direct desk ?

I've never used Tesco club card points. Can I use the 2269 club card points you gain with the device to reduce the tab further.
#38
Please note if you buy it today 19.09.2012, you are not qualified for the £50 cash back as the promotions end on 30.09.2012.

Samsung Conditions:

Claims must be received within 30 - 45 days of the date of purchase.

This means you have to wait 30 days before you can claim the cash back.

I have already ordered today but returning after I receive the item.

You had me worried for a moment there, as I bought one too. But, you're wrong, read the T&C on the link earlier in this thread.

Qualifying Display and Tablet purchases must be made from 00.01 on the 1st of August 2012 to 23.59 on the 30th of September 2012 (inclusive). Qualifying Notebook, Print and SSD purchases must be made from 00.01 on the 15th of August 2012 to 23.59 on the 30th of September 2012 (inclusive). The claim window will close at 23.59 on the 14th of November 2012 for these products, all claims received after this date will be marked invalid.

Hmm got excited at the price of this.

But this is less than positive: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-2-review-benchmark,3278-3.html
Those are pretty bad specs for a new tablet, not worth the full asking price that's for sure.
