Good price nice find hot

Had this, the 7 inch version(twice) and the Note 10.1, all good build quality. My only complaint was the actual screen resolution. But for the price, its good enough.

Most of these devices have the PICNIC problem - Problem In Chair Not In Computer.

The chipset is about on par with my xoom which was released in Feb 2011. This tablet is woefully underpowered. Even if it just web browsing your better off getting the 9in Lenovo pad which is cheaper and more powerful.
#12
Love mine.

I bought one of these tablets at Xmas and use it daily. It's fine for me, I've had no issues with it other than it having a proprietary connector.
#14
They sell for more than that on ebay.

If it's anything like last year good luck getting one this side of Xmas

It's the same price as a new Nexus 7 at Argos.

I know I'm comparing a 10 inch to a 7 inch but the screen resolution is the same.

So it comes down to new versus refurb and the size you want to carry around.

The Lenovo will almost certainly not receive any major updates. Thats been my experience with the two I've owned. Whereas the Samsungs will. The Tab 2 has gone from ICS to JellyBean 4.2

who said that? The custom android on it is annoying, its incompatible with things like demand 5, it has no sd slot etc, if I was to buy an asus built tablet I'd buy one of the proper ones not the little too cool for school basic one.

Actually we don't get 4.2 until next month abd that will be the last update but I wish id4 never updated it from ics anyway jelly bean is awful, I really need to root this thing sometime.

Had one since last christmas the mrs uses it everyday. No problems at all. Only £90 after cashback deals at the time though I wouldnt pay this much for a second hand one.

4.2.2 is actually available for the P3110 in the UK, and the P3100(if you flash manually via Odin, no root needed). I've been running CM10.2(4.3) on my P3110, and it flies. Much improved over the stock firmware.

Unfortunately Chrome on android is still a very laggy/jerky experience. Stay with the AOSP type browser or try something else like Firefox.

Shows what you know about Android, as the "custom android" you're speaking of is the clean, stock android 4.3 Jelly Bean -regarded as the fastest and slickest version of android.

This offer is gone. Expired. Poof.

I know it is a different price range, but I am much more tempted by the Nexus 10.

Can you get CM for this? Since it is not a Nexus, that is really the only way to get reliable updates.
