Are people still buying this tat? Just utter bobbins, and I know I say it on nearly every one of the £99 Galaxy Tab 3 7" threads but it really is. The point of this site is to get the most for your very hard earned money, and this is not it - you can get so much better for around £99, including the ridiculously powerful Advent Tegra 4 Note 7, Tesco's HUDL and the 2012 Nexus 7. This, on the other hand, has nothing going for it other than the brand name, a reasonable build and a microSD slot. Underpowered, low resolution, Touchwiz - avoid like a randy manager at the office Xmas party.

Thanks OP. I just bought one. Not sure I actually need it for anything. It was marked £89 on the shelf in Swansea. I bought some food first and got a £6 off £30 voucher to make it £83.

Great post op.

I'm also waiting for the 8" to drop in price. I own a 7" tablet and while it does what I want, I just find the screen size that bit too small.
Having compared the screen size, I think the 8" is just right for watching tv and films along with reading books etc..

Return it and buy from Sainsburys.

Good price reduction.. but for the same cost, the Vega Note 7 absolutely blows this away

Or forget both and go for the tegra note?

I had it, returned it..got the note 8 now....but there are loads of people who don't want lightening speeds so isn't bad for the price at all

this is a great tablet for under £100, top brand, good build quality and reliable with a 2 year warranty I wonder about folk who slate this tablet

yes the other tablets may be alot more powerful but apart from the nexus I doubt they will last half as long.
#35
Cheers picking one up later when I start my night shift + 15% staff discount
#36
Think this is the lowest it has been. Definitely hot!

Best price for this product I've seen so far but I would look at the available alternatives.
#38
so the black and red tabs have 2 year guarantees but the white only has 1 it seems

been looking at this one for a while, been now tempted to get the 100 pound kindle fire offer that's floating around here. which is better?

This is - more powerful than the Nexus 7 2013, better screen than the Galaxy Tab 3, more open than the Kindle Fire, local pick up (if you have a Currys or PC World anyway).
