Funny you say that? .. its most unfortunate how many peeps on HUKD have rubbished the bulk of the Samsung Galaxy Tabs 1, 2, & 3 Tablets over the last couple of Months alone? .. very frightening! .. hmmmmmmmmm .........

I own some Samsung Phones (& for the most part they're quite decent Phones ..... ) .. but can't Comment too tough on their Tablets mind? .. anyone else ..... :-)

I've only gotten the chance to own a samsung note 3, love the thing. But been curious on how good the tablets are. Been tempted to sell the ipad 4 off and get a note tab pro 12.1 some point at the end of this year. The freedom of the note 3 is amazing, would love that in tablet form.

I get the impression anyone who has well and truly got used to 'good' tablets and used them productively is easily disappointed by a tab that is merely OK. If, however, you're experience of tabs and phones so far is based on the budget end of things, an OK tablet will be a breath of fresh air to you where a more experienced and demanding user will curse and spit at the lags even on simple, single, tasks.

We have a "Scroll Basic Plus" and it's ***. It should be for a Flubit price of £35. We bought it knowing this and expecting it would at least be able to contain our music collection and play it without problems. It's very good at its job although, yeah, the lags... it's extremely unresponsive if you ask it to do anything... er... well, pretty much anything.

Our Galaxy Tab 3 8 inch - known to be ahead in spec and performance than the 7 inch version here - is an excellent tool for our purposes. It does the music thing same as the old one, browsers open and show web pages (the old one doesn't "do" this in any way I call acceptable) and I regularly watch Game of Thrones running the files from a network location.

It got panned here on HUKD over and over at £140 but we have no regrets at that price.

So be circumspect when people say a tab ain't no good - compared to a Galaxy Note, the Galaxy Tabs are way behind but it really really depends on what you use it for and what you expect from it.

Yes, I do love a good essay!

Not a bad tablet but not worth paying over £100 for. Lacks things such as mhl, hd screen and isnt very fast
