This phone has just recently come out, and I own it. It is an EXCELLENT phone packed with many features and is extremely budget. I will list the main features here, but the full spec is in the first post:

TFT Touchscreen (16m Colours)
Qwerty Keyboard (excellent)
Connectivity: Wi-fi, a-GPS, 3G/HSDPA, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP
3.2mp Camera
150mb Built in memory/MicroSd slot and 2gb MicroSd card included

It also has an accelorometer and loads of apps/widgets built in. You can view office documents (word etc) load on flash applications and also play divx videos. The qwerty keyboard is incredibly easy to use and get used to. Also has a 3.5mm jack for your headphones.

Also, these can be unlocked AND flashed (with unbranded software) for about £10 for just unlocking and £20 for both.

:S why on earth would this phone go cold, for the price it's excellent, even for £200 it would be excellent!! I would advise people to check out the reviews for this if they're worried (they're all good) and nope no difference at all, I got mine from PPM and it's the exact same one that's advertised everywhere.

Maybe its the reference to mass murder in the name of the phone?

I think he means it sounds like genocide lol, but the phone is pronounced 'jee-nee-oh'

The best thing about this phone is it displays correspondance between you and someone else (texts) in a format similar to instant messaging; you see all the texts in a row!!

I cant justify an over priced iphone.even though it might make my toast in the morning with the latest app :p

I need the money for a nice holiday and this might just tick enough boxes for my needs.

this phone is an amazing bargain
Samsung is really doing well at the moment, with arguably the best winmo phone (Omnia 2) and the best proprietry touch phone (Jet) at the moment. And preparing to pump out Android phones like no tomorrow.

I bought one of these as a holiday phone and am mega impressed. first of all it comes with 3 back plates, so I can have the phone all black, which is what I wanted.
It is amazing well made for such a cheap phone and keyboard is excellent, far better then the Nokia N97 mini for example.
It has GPS and all the basic widgets, including weather, bloomberg, iphone, facebook, myspace, etc. and has a radio, 3.5 headphone socket and a passable 3.2mp camera.

My feeling at the moment is that Samsung is out to crush the opposition, and it shows no sign of letting up!

Is this the cheapest 3G phone there is?

And can it be unlocked (I'm on Vodafone contract for a while but wouldn't like to be stuck with them or have to chuck it when I renew).

Just for information, despite the description this phone does not support voice dialling over bluetooth.
