just had this posted to me seems a good deal and free delivery heres the spec -
The Samsung Spinpoint F3 operates at 7200RPM and with this offering being 1TB of data storage capacity using just two 500GB per platter disks it offers suberb speeds. As well as meeting datacentre requirements for addition storage to meet rising demand and increasing performance needs, the new drives also deliver high-performance with lower power for desktop computers and servers.
The Samsung Spinpoint drive offers a superior combination of density, recording quality and reliability. It also features Samsung's industry-leading NoiseGuard and SilentSeek‚ technologies to eliminate acoustic noise. Servers, high-end desktops, RAID systems and DVRs are among the applications well suited to the Spinpoint drive.

Probably not, I heard from a mate down the road that they only take Hitachi drives.

No, Samsung will not offer any warranty at all on these.
However, Ebuyer offer a full 3yr warranty on them (contacted them myself a while back before ordering a couple).
So this is still the better deal, especially as Ebuyers CS department are very easy to deal with.

I paid a bit more than this for one about a week ago, What can i say I'm using it for storage and its very fast. The only fault i can find is mine makes strange noises when spinning up.

I have always had good experiences with e buyer, items are always delivered on time and very good customer services. :)

ebuyer has a much better track record than OCers, never had a problem with ebuyer, OCUK has a history of sending used or returned products out to customers and ebuyer delivery is usually next day.

I may order myself one of these, need to replace my boot drive, it's not what it used to be.

Ebuyer are a crock for returns.

I bought a Samsung F! 1tb drive from Ebuyer a few years ago then it failed about 18 month in, this drive came up on the Samsung warranty checker as out of area, in other words a Grey Import i called Ebuyer to explain my situation and after the Lady consulted the relevant people and got back to me she told me to send the drive back and they would honour the warranty and credit my account with the FULL amount which i think was about £85, and sure enough i received my money and put some towards it to get a 2tb Samsung from them instead. 1 st class customer service for me.

Nice one, I got this drive from eBuyer a few weeks ago for about 50 quid. It is one of the best HDDs on the marked at the moment (especially for the price!).

Regarding 'grey import' thing, I checked my unit on Samsung website and it is legitimate and has full 3 years warranty.

I only order from ebuyer, fantastic customer service, always reply straight away and help with exactly what was needed.

I know 3 people who have used OCUK, every single one of have had big problems, wouldn't go near them myself.

I use ebuyer even if it costs more, worth it for the support you get IMO.

Oh yeah free 5 day delivery comes the next day 90% of the time for me.

Has anyone else come across this before about ocuk?

BS. I've returned items before. It's really easy to do on their website. Bought a SATA cable that was faulty and they just sent me another, didn't even want the old one as proof.

You must be the one and only person that's had a bad experience. I have returned stuff to ebuyer many times and they are by far the one of the very best of the computer retailers, turn around on returns is the next day so say they receive the return Monday the email will be with you before the end of the Tuesday telling you if your a **** and have broke the item yourself or if they except that its faulty and if its a replacement the stuff is sent straight out and this has been every time I've sent stuff back that's been faulty which has been at least 10 times over the last 6 years out of 100s of items.

The worst by far is Aria i never order from them any more even if there £20 cheaper than any where else. They Took 2 months for a refund and 100s of call. The first item i returned an item to Aria it went missing and they said they had never got it back even though citylink had the signed form from there warehouse which the produced and i emailed to Aria, to which they still didn't except liability i ended up using the credit card company to get my money back. Just lately scan are no better i had to return a divx player that was faulty the start of the year and weeks went by and loads of bull **** excuses until one day i rang up and was informed that because it was a paypal purchase that after 3 months they couldn't refund it via paypal but no one had told me in 20 calls they kept telling me there had been a refund made and give it a couple of days, finally the money was paid back £5 light of what it should of been,

Ebuyer have very good communications ever step of the returns process and i would always prefer to buy from them or Novatech who are equally as good with the customer service

I agree about aria one of the worst going
they told my brother in law over the phone to go f his self or something like that
when he had a lcd monitor die a few years ago
we have both avoided them since

Just wanted to leave my opinion of ebuyer.

I've used them for many years for the majority of my computer parts and a couple of laptops. Delivery is always quick even the super saver option, and I've found their returns system to be the best I've encountered, hence why I keep using them. I had to return a graphics card after nearly a year and they just gave me the value in store credit to pick a new one, they even sent a courier to pick up my faulty one.

S246J******** HD103SJ INW 2013-08 100 In warranty

Thats my 2 from amazon
how are peoples from ebuyer?

They turned up nicley wrapped as well tripple protected
which is nice compared to ebuyer+scan's in bubble wrapp bouncing around in a box

In a clam shell
In a box with sponge
In a box with paper

Odd thing though the box with sponge had the supplier info Micro-P
and both had the same purchase order number
but one drive was made 03/10 and another 05/10
