Good price for an all-in-one system.

However, just be careful if you are thinking you can connect various devices to this, Xbox / PS3 / BluRay etc. You are very limited with inputs on these all-in-one systems.

If you have lots of devices you wish to get surround sound from, do not bother with an all-in-one. Get a separate amp / speaker package.

The amp in my lightly-used Samsung HT-DB120 all-in-one died with a 'PROTECT' message when it was just over two years old. Googling reveals this was a fault others had experienced with this model, but Samsung didn't want to know.

I was given the Samsung HT-Z220 Home cinema system for Xmas. Unfortunately i dont watch many DVD's preferring Blu Rays via my PS3. However, i do not know how to hook the PS3 to the Z220 system.

Is there anyone who may be able to help me?

It can only be done with an optical link, check on the back of the Z220 to see if it's got one, if it hasn't then it can't be done.

Just checked the specs and it has, buy an optical cable, they aren't very expensive, connect the ps3 up with that then set the ps3 to output sound via the optical. Google will help you more as I'm no expert but this is what I intend to do, about the cheapest way of getting surround sound from blu-ray although it won't be HD sound but from what I've read the HD sound isn't all it's cracked up to be anyway and you will be looking at spending a lot more to get it.
