seems like a ok deal but for the real experience of amazing sound at home you should do what i done and hire a 72 piece orchestra to actually play the music live. and by placing them at strategic positions around the house the surround effect is amazing.

I bought the HW-K430 from currys a couple weeks ago when the deal was posted up here which was £129 from currys.

Unfortunately I need to arrange to send it back. The wireless sub is constantly making making a high pitched noise, hissing etc. Its very noticeable and annoying during silent moments or just when there are scenes of talking.

Anyone else had any issues with wireless subs? Should I go for a wired one or just get a replacement?

To be honest this has always been around £140-180. I had been looking at it for a few months and ended up going for the HW-K650. Never had I seen it higher than that, so it looks like Curry's might be pulling some legs here.

I think it could just be a fault with your kit. My Samsung wireless sub has no issues whatsoever.

Nope, I bought this one with my new Samsung tele a few months back and it is absolutely fab. No problem whatsoever, no strange sounds, none of that (and I have very sharp ears - am often the only one who hears beeeeeps liks you describe!). It only loses very occasionally the bluetooth connection, but it is very easy to re-connect. I have many wireless devices in my house an there is no interference either. It seems you have just bad luck (or it is a **** product and I am just very lucky.... :D)

Superior Samsung soundbar for only £16 more briefly back in stock here:

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/samsung-hw-j6000r-300w-bluetooth-curved-soundbar-wireless-subwoofer-155-ao-165-ao-2570757

Okay, so it has a slight curve (which might bother some), but it's an amazing price.

do you need additional speakers for this or can you just use the sound bar for everything?

HW-J6000R for £155 or HW-K450 for £139?
If you can accommodate the size and shape of the Hwj6000 it's the superior soundbar in terms of... well... sound.

If size and shape are an issue though, this is a solid deal

If you reserve the item and collect today and you use the code in store?

Went into currys at the weekend to try out a few soundbars at the weekend as was looking to replace old Samsung AVR 5.1 set up, was seriously unimpressed with all of them i looked at so have simply invested in a new AV Receiver using old speakers
