Can anyone tell from the spec if this camera would be ok with taking the pictures straight away instead of delaying! I'm rubbish with understanding what it all means!!!

Nope. You can't tell anything from the spec posted, since the key piece of info (the sensor size) isn't mentioned. Also you've no idea how good the lens is.

Chances are it's a poor performer indoors and especially at night, since 8megapixels is too much too stuff on a typically sized sensor.

Voucher code worked for me... £60 to pay
#14
i have the 7.2mp model and it is very good. So this must be a tad better.
#15
The Sensor Size is 1/2.5 which is quite small for 8mp.

Likely to be very grainy at high ISO and low lighting but anyway good deal for a cheap rechargeable battery camera.

If your not fussy on the make, you can get a 9.2 mega pixel kodak from Argos for £49.99 at the moment, which to me is a much better deal
#19

I would not touch kodak cameras. Samsung are OK and for the money its a bargain. Nikon i find really good but double the price of the samsung.

Kodak cameras are ****, I made that mistake once.

Does this have touchscreen controls?

Why? Is it any good?

Remember, megapixels tell you nothing about quality.

Can't get it down to this price, coming out at £62.85 as I am being charged for £4.95 postage.

I have bought the Kodak camera, and I am impressed with it. Samsung to me dont make cameras, my father is a photographer, and his friends recomend kodak over samsung any day of the week, as kodak know about picture quality.

Lets face it most people on here are buying a point and click camera, so why spend out more than you really have too? For the difference you can get a 4gb memory card, so why not save some money, and get some more things to go with it?

Yeah the only free 'delivery' option is to collect it from your nearest store, otherwise you will get charged 4.95. There is £1.65 quidco as well, mine just validated

No local store available for my location, they're all a bit of a trek - looks like I will have to pay the postage!
