seems like a good laptop for this price..voted hot!
#5
Scores well on Revoo (9.3 out of 10) so would love to know why it hasn't had the heat it deserves yet.

Probably the belief that everyone needs an i Series (apparently)!

http://****.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=390298637733&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_1194wt_905
it's Samsung RV-510
2GB RAM
500GB HD
Pentium DUAL CORE T4500 2.4GHZ
WEBCAM
NO HDMI (THE ONLY CONS IMO)
NICE SCREEN
Good Looking & Solid build quality much better than anything Toshiba,Acer, and ofcourse Lenovos can offer at this price range.
and came with 64bit version of windows 7 home premium.
overal I'm very happy and it was a replacement for a sony vaio so my expectations were high.

well it's not £10 less ,£20 less, they accept best offers.and I bought it a week before this offer was posted.
if I find a laptop £20 less on ebay store,I would if the ebay shop has been around a long time and got all positive feedbacks.why not.the laptops brand new and I succesfully registered it on samsung website and waranty is up and running.
but its upto individuals to decide.

ordered for my dad, seems an immense deal tbh, faster chip than my Dell Studio I bought last year for £500! :p

This one has a slightly different spec compared to what is highlighted in bold in your post above as it has a T4500 CPU (though it states 2.3Ghz?) and RAM can be upgraded to 8Gb max. :)

there is no AVG on mine (3 months free licence of Norton Internet Security instead).
as for the memory,I have just ordered 4GB (2 x 2GB) online for around £35 inc p&p.and sold the current 2GB module to a friend for £15.(I wanted %100 compatibility so decided to buy exact same modules from same manufacturer)..

oh thats my typing mistake the cpu is actually T4500 not T4300.sorry.
they are exact same models : RV510-A0B so I might be wrong about max ram being 4GB,I can't verify that now.will try to find out and update.

It's not an i3 but the plus side is you get decent build quality, 500gb storage, 4 hours battery, 64 bit windows, webcam, wireless n, and delivery on a day you choose.

After already having 1 Samsung laptop and having continous problems with it and the repair centre Samsung set us up with, I'll probably never buy a laptop from them again.

However it is insanely cheap, not voting either way. Just a heads up their support isn't as good as Acer's.
#33
Nothing special, about all it's worth really.
Awful GPU, and the CPU can't handle HD content either (my last laptop had a T4500), so no 720p/1080p TV/movies if you're a downloader.

Only really worth getting if you simply must have a 500GB HDD.

This is a better all-rounder for the same money -

thats not true at all.the laptop is infront of me now and it handles HD beautifully no problems at all.
I just finished watching some full HD video LOL smooth.
you wont get any better CPU and GPU at this price.you need to spend at least another £80.

I just posted a link to a laptop with a better CPU + GPU for the same price...
Like I said before, this deal is only worth getting if you simply must have the bigger HDD.

£280 from ebay is actually a potential £268.69 through TCB (with 40.4% of the sellers revenue available as CB).
#38
not a bad laptop, would recommend at least 3GB for windows 7 though to be nice and speedy after it's loaded.
#39
Thanks for the deal, I went for the eBay with cashback option. Looks like a good all-rounder for the money.

where is the best place to buy extra RAM for this model ??
