great tele and now an even better price, voted hot

It was around £375 a few weeks back.

I think the guarantees are now 5 years, they went up from 2 or 3 years about a month after I bought my TV from there
#5
Oooo in white,thats cool:thumbsup:
#6
Nice-ah price-ah! With the 5 year guarantee too!
#7
For selected people only as most people don't/can't have a costco card

Great first post, Samsung make some gorgeous TV's, heat added

FANTASTIC deal i seen this deal months ago but the liverpool store had no stock left still waiting for this :(
#12
Good deal, voted hot, but please don't shout!
#13
Wow, 180W power consumption. I did not realise they still made them. Spend another £20 and get a Sony with under 100W. It will save you a lot of money in years to come. Cold from me.

I had a black version of this TV and it was really super. Never had any problems, quality of image was very good. In the end, I decided to upgrade to a 42" but can't fault it, well woth getting, especially at that price, mine was considerably more and I think at the time, the piano black ones were less than the more *special* and rarer white ones!

I guess, the only downside to this deal (as far as I know), is you have to have a costco card to get in there. Or be a registered business etc.
Still a really good deal well done O.P

Why is this not a bargain?

Costco £310 with 5 year warranty,
Play £330 with 1 year warranty

I bought the black version of this in August for £235 in Costco, now that was a MEGA Bargain!

Why the hell would you buy this?!? Everyone knows TrueHD 2160p is merely a decade away and the minimum you'll need for the TrueHD experience is a 90" 250hz 3D screen with DisplayPort 5 and 128bit ultra vivid colour!

God, durr.
#18
white tv's look the best

gd find

and costco are a top company to buy from
#19
My friend has got the 40" version of this. Picture is great...its better than a lot of 1080P TVs....people get way too carried away with 1080p before they have checked them out.

Looks very sexy in white.

Now that is a bargain. The only Costco I know in the Midlands is by Villa park opposite Star City, so I'm told

40" in £517 with the full 5 yr warranty in costco
#32
Anyone know if this is still available in Costco?
#33
Hey guys! Just bought a couple of these from Costco in Watford. They had 12 come in this morning.. I called up within 20 mins of the store opening and one had gone. I went straight in and picked up my 2 which are £310 inc VAT PLUS 5 year warranty! Absolutely brilliant deal! Deserves heat. Was gonna pick these up a couple of weeks ago but they had none in stock and they were still £389 inc vat at the time. Great deal and got to love the 5 year warranty!

At the time of writing (within 1 hour of returning from watford costco) they still have 9 left in stock. The panasonic 42 inch plasma also seems to be a good deal. I didnt check the price but they had over 60 instore and people were lugging those around. Worth a check me thinks. Good luck if you're buying.
#34
Pahh! Went all the way to Edinburgh branch with my neighbour (as he's a member). Didn't have any. :-(
#35
None in Milton Keynes. Apart from these occasional offers Costco are not particularly cheap on electricals. I let my membership lapse as I got tired of going there to find their prices were higher than mail order.
#36
Do costco have any kind of price promise? if its cheaper after xmas will they refund anyhting?? thanks
#37
With COSTCO you can take it back within 90 days for a full refund, even if you just change your mind.....this should protect you from any sudden price drop:santa:

Do not buy in dec 2008 or Jan 2009
Wait 90 days (3 months- march 2009) to buy a HDTV, as prices will dramatically fall.
You will regret for not waiting.
Secret tips on the link above.

How much cheaper do you need it? 310 for a nice 32" tv?

Unfortunatley xmas is not in Feb or March it's like.............next week.
If you waited for all technology to come down in .price you would never buy.
