310.49 with VAT?
#2
This is available in White only (unfortunately), but is the best price I could currently find for a branded 32" set with a 5 year warranty.

This was in the Bristol Costco, but I'm guessing it is available in all Costcos?

310.49 including VAT (269.99 + VAT) - I've updated the title to reflect this thanks

White TV? URGGHHH

I can only agree - have bought it to tide us over whilst our Sony 40W4500 is in for repair.

It is noticeable that it doesn't need dusting every 5 minutes like the Sony, and it is not as offensive as you might imagine...

i like it but shame we dont have a costco around here

Was going to post this earlier.

I have been after this tv for a while in white. There seems to be no stock anywhere of this tv. I originally placed an order with BT shop ( DABS ) and for £329 plus £9.78 shipping, but the date kept being put back.

I seen a thread a while ago on here about this tv being £349 in costco. Think the thread was dated August!

Anyways, i thought a phone call was in order to Costco Birmingham, seeing as i am already a member i thought it was worth a punt. The women on the phone told me £310 inc VAT! They had 20 in stock, well 19 now :p

Got to say, its a brilliant tv. Really good pic from just an SD sky box.

Nahh - this cannot be a particularly good deal when you consider that Richer Sounds are currently selling the super-thin Hitachi 32" for £299.
Anyway, why is it the OP insists on wasting space by pasting in the specification ? It you put the link in correctly, far better that is takes up space on his home web site where anyone interested in the minutiae can take a look!.

No Freeview on that pal. Need another box, thus another item to power. Thats why its so cheap.

This is a good price, if you want a White tv.

Was going to get this last year from costco for £350, might try and pop down this week to pick one up.

I bought this TV in black about two years ago. Cost £700+ back then but thought I got a great deal getting it at £550. At this price it is a steal as it is such a great TV. The picture quality is stunning day or night. No reflections, loads of connections, does 1080i which I can say looks great when driven from a PC playing games/movies.

At the time I bought mine, the white ones were really hard to get hold of, I kinda wanted a white one, I still think it would look great in a lightly decorated room where a big black TV really stands out.

Anyway, sweet deal, fantastic TV still today despite no full 1080p support and as has been said, built in freeview so another ugly box you don't have to look at :)

Called Thurrock and was told the below confirmed model numbers with the lady.

Thurrock and Chingford are getting 24 32" delivered tomorrow @ £310 inc VAT.

The head depot received 126 today so other stores will have them.

Chingford have 3 40" instock @ £517.48 inc VAT, Thurrock are getting these in stock on the 17th March.

Decision time 32" or 40"?!? :?

Quite fancy one of these. Assume I'd have to join Costco though?

Finally decided to go and get one! paid £13.00 to be added on as as an additional member and then £310.49. i confirmed how the 90 day return policy works and the 5 yr warrenty, they had a sony LCD boxed that someone 'didnt like' and returned and a 2 year old pioneer that was faulty and was unboxed sitting there. So they dont seem to be that fussy when it comes to the 90 day return.

Set it up and gota say i was impressed! the quality is decent straight out the box i would not complain at this price its a bargain! connect ps3 through hdmi and the picture detail on 1080p trailors ive downloaded are amazing! i couldnt tell the difference between this and my 42" 1080p plasma.

All in all i would reccomend this to anyone and the white colour i think is a bonus as this looks better in my room!

My only issue is that the holes for the wall mount is a problem, one hole is missing and the other is missing the thread! so might have to take it back!! but i guess thats just pot luck with mass produced stuff!!

I was in Croydon Costco today and they have some of these in stock if anybody is looking for one.
The hot deal for me in there has to be the £1.22 humungous jacket potato with cheese AND beans though!
