Seems a good deal. I was thinking about this TV, does anyone know if it is any good.

Looks nice.
#3
got one of these a few weeks ago, its *brilliant*
really nice quality. only issue i had was with hooking up my mac mini to it via the VGA port. kept saying "mode not supported".. but swapping it for a dvi-hdmi cable sorted it straight away
#4
Anyone have views on how this set handles SD football?

Ta.

Mine should be arriving in the next few days so once I get it hooked up I will let you all know what the quality is like.

It got great reviews and a friend of mine has the 37" model which he says is amazing.

I just ordered one of these, was going to post the deal but found you had already done so.
Heat and rep added anyway

You may be able to cancel your order then do it over again so you get quidco. Not sure if this works or not.

Propabably not because its VGA input, and like you said 8ms, but also the resolution will be low on that 32" TV. Best of with 1080P for PC input.

Same question I have - I don't have a hdmi version but presume it will also be fine with a VGA cable or component (many people suggest VGA better than the component cable).
#17
are there any dixon voucher codes available? im really tempted

Heh. I DO NOT recommend this TV.

I received it last week but I'm completely unhappy with it. The image quality was terrible, it completely blurry and very jaggy when playing games (hooked up a HDMI cable).

Any know which is best between this and the toshiba? I want to get one or the other but not sure which

Great tv. I've had mine for around a year now. Got it for £450 last July.

Excellent screen. Non HD tv looks great on it, no blurring or pixelation.

I got to watch Wimbledon and Euro 2008 on BBC HD which was great.

Also use it for my Xbox 360. Great price, voted hot.

Thanks for that. What cable are you using with the Xbox 360?

Hello, bought this TV 2 weeks ago from Dixons, sd very good with built in freeview. Dvds played back through rgb scart very, very good. Xbox 360 through hdmi looks absolutely amazing. Need to tweak the settings slightly from the factory presets, only get motion blurring from sd channels with a low bitrate. Very happy with TV especially for the price.

I got a similar spec 26-inch version (for about the same price), and I'm very happy with it.

I'm tempted to get this one now... :D
#27
Brilliant price for this TV (judging by the prices elsewhere), no idea if its a good TV or not though.
#28
I have just bought this TV after a good couple of months of humming and hoing about which 32" LCD to buy.

A decent price after Quidco.

I have no problems playing games on a 12ms monitor! This should be fine.
#30
good price, voted hot. how come dixons have started to charge delivery all of a sudden?

Liddle ol' me

Dixons.

I tried the default settings and some settings posted on AVForums, and I used the PS3.

Surely it must have been faulty?

No one else is complaining of issues with this TV and the PS3.

My PS3 worked great on a Teco 32" I had so I can only imagine that it will be great on this also.
#33
Where am I going wrong? Why is the website telling me £389.99?!
#34
The price has gone up!
#35
yup this deal has expired
#36
No way man, so raging. Just went to order this TV today, gutted! Any good alternative deals?
#37
dont worry its only £355 (with quidco) with sound and vision and digital direct!. So you haven't lost out (dixons have lost your custom ) as this tv is available for only £5 more then this deal!!
#38
Got mine today.

It is all set up.

Grand-tastic!
#39
Actually I have now noticed a couple of pretty serious patches of clouding on the panel.

Will be sending this TV back...
