Specs are:

- HD Ready
- Contrast ratio: 10000:1
- 3 x HDMI ports, component, 2 x SCART, VGA etc

This is the cheapest price I can find on the internet at the moment from any major retailer by about £30 so it seems like a good offer. Delivery is £20 but if you factor in the £5 discount code and 4% Quidco it will come to a total price of £304

Take in mind Pixmania are based in France (and make it pretty hard for you to see that fact).
I'm not sure whether or not they have warehouses in the UK, but I bought a 22" Samsung monitor from them and it came from mainland Europe...

By the way the Dixons Group (DSG) have a controlling interest in Fotovista who own Pixmania.....

Do people think this would be an unreliable place to purchase a TV from? - I got a printer from there a while back, only had a 2 pin plug! - Also, only a printer so no big deal - very tempted to go for this but I'm concerned it could turn into a nightmare if anything goes wrong!

What's other peoples take on this, and would Dixons be better or worse?!

No experience on Pixmania, so can't really comment, but if you can live with a white TV there is a deal for a similar price for a similar TV from Costco with a 5 year warranty - Costco returns policy is A1.

RUSONJITSU - did you order from Pixmania? - If so, how quick was delivery and was everything all good?
#14
Anyone know about mounting this on a stand too? - It looks like its possible - does it all work out OK?
#15
Bought a TV from them 2 years ago, came without power lead, remote control, and the manual was in French. It took 2 months to sort it all out, would not touch Pixmania with a barge pole.

I've ordered from pixmania without problems in the past, good quality tv can't go wrong

I've bought a few things from Pixmania. They are pretty incompetent but somethimes that can work in your favour. I bought an external hard drive from them which I sent back as it was faulty. They refunded the money to my credit card and also sent me a cheque. So they refunded me twice!.

YES ordered this from Pixmania.
Ordered sunday arrived tuesday.
You have to call them up to arrange delivery though. not too sure how that worked as my dad did that.

Ordered loads from pixmania before. Couldnt fault them. Bought soundcard from them monitor etc. Theyve been going a long time.
#20
Why do you need to call them to arrange delivery?
Don't you just put in a delivery address?

I ordered last night now I regret it, pixmania has a bad rep.

Hope mine shows up, heard getting a refund from these guys is a nightmare.

Seems to be up to around the £310 mark now.

Ordered one Saturday & arrived on time Wednesday. No problems with Pixmania, they used currys as the courier:p
#23
did you get the UK 3 pin plug or is it continental Europe stock with the 2 pin plug?

Pixmania & Currys are supposed to have the same mother company, so they use Currys to keep a small amount of stock for the UK, but just don't like the fact it may be continental euro stock.
