I have the samsung TV posted and i would recommend it to anybody looking for a good 32" for a decent price. PS3 looking stunning on this tv and as its 720p SD Sky looks better than on some 1080p TV's. Very good TV for the cash.

SkyHD is natively 1080i . If you use the 720p feed then the sky box is downscaling and de- interlacing the picture. If a 1080i sgnal is fed to a 1080p TV then the TV just deinterlaces. Generally a 1080p TV will look better but some cheaper ones do not necessarily make a good job of the de-interlacing so a 720p feed from the sky box where it is doing the work might look better on these.

SD is 576i so again picture quality is down to a comparison between the scaling and de-interlacing capabilities of various TV'sand those of the Sky box

BIG WARNING

Awful company, couldn't ever get my account credit to work and then it expired before 30 days were up. Indeed they expired it after 677 hours by claiming it was issued at 12pm (actually they sent email at 3pm) and so expired 30 days after issue at 12pm BUT NO WHERE DID IT STATE THIS and like I said I kept getting "voucher is just in use" because their faulty payment system often rejects legitimate card details. (They don't have RBS secure code so if you have an online credit card password it just won't work - at least they don't when you also try to use a voucher ;)).

The code also isnt generated for 30 days after you place the order. They're obviously banking on most people not being able to ever use it (and theres a heap of junk on their site anyway) before the time is up a bit like the mobile phone cash back scam. Even without the credit, their TVs are tremendously over priced so don't be fooled by this cheap French gimmicks.

Also had problems returning goods - the courier told me they didn't like it and basically wouldn't let me reject the order - he said cdiscount would just keep bringing in back each day. Basically it's one hell of a hassle to cancel and don't listen to them when they say they will try and cancel the order before dispatch. I had to employ a courier to return the TV before I ran out of time

That order I tried to cancel prior to dispatch in line with section 10.1 of their terms and conditions,.says you can cancel any time up until dispatch by pressing a button on this website, but said button doesn't appear until they dispatch. Moral of the story if it looks too good to be true then it is. Other people have got solicitors letters when paying in the 3 payment method.
