How does this compare with this Toshiva one?
#2
Should be noted that this is the 4-series which usually retails for £320, not the 3-series which has been around £300 for ages

Great deal, was about to buy this as Dixons for little under £320. Just hope it stays until Tuesday when I get paid.

This is the T.V that I am buying next week. Best price I found was Dixons until I checked out pricerunner and saw the price of £298.00 from Dell. But I will not be buying from them, check out the reviews on delivery etc before you buy!

I have this tv and i have had no problems with it at all, quick and easy to setup, looks great, handles SD Sky well and also the PS3 looks great on this TV with no motion blur etc. Great tv for the cash.

As ive mentioned on a few other threads about this tv , if you read the reviews around the web there is talk about different panels going into some of these TV's which arent as good as others. I bought mine from Dixons and after testing it mine definiatly seems to be the better panels due to the quality of the reds (not orangey). Just something to consider.

Great deal for a fantastic TV. I bought one of these a few months ago for £320 at John Lewis with a 5 year warranty (price matched against Richer Sounds). I would definitely recommend this TV if you're looking for a TV under £300!

Unfortunately I have a John Lewis in my city but the nearest Richer sounds is in the next city over, would they price match something which is 30 miles away? The best bet is calling them and asking obviously, but you may know more than I do!

These are £349 at John Lewis:

with five year Guarantee.... assuming JL will still be here in 4+ years time, that makes it a reasonable bet for 51 quid more.
Can't see them price matching as their deal is dearer, but is offering more.
Delivery is likely to be faster, or pay more for faster still... but being JL, I wouldn't actually hold my breath on that! :-(

(Note...The last TV with 5 year guarantee I bought went west as Allders went bust!)

John Lewis in Bristol matched a retailer in Manchester for me - so it is definitely worth asking.

It seems as long as they have a shop in the country which you can walk into and get it for that price, they will price match it and give you a free 5 year warantee.
