Strange company pixmania, I have a TV 50" being delivered from them today in Spain, it is on its way from Barcelona this morning, delivery was 57 Euros to my door from France, but I could pick it up from Barcelona store (Several Hundred miles away) for 82 Euros carriage??

Good price for that 32" one

i purchased a samsung from these guys about ywo years ago .... wouldnt use again . it come with a two pin european cable and a great big white adaptor to make it work on uk 240v. so i would be a bit wary as they do sell euro models

Nice price, think I would go with John Lewis though for the little extra :)

The worst company i’ve ever dealt with. If you choose to shop with them prey you have no problems with the merchandise they supply. No chargeback would sort it.

I had faulty camera sent it back to France at my own cost (including a postage receipt) and never seen the postage back. Charged it back on a credit card after three months of messages/letters to have it reclaimed back by them and my cc company giving up. This is despite Pixmania accepting in writing that the item was faulty, promising to refund postage and me having RM Recorded receipt. Had to go through Finacial Obundsman to return my £30+ postage from the cc company, even though it was not their fault. Avoid.

Cold Deal, go for the John Lewis 5 yr guarantee deal.

This was my experience too, with some power over ethernet adaptors. I bought from pixmania.co.uk, but they came with two pin plugs. When I complained they eventually gave a partial refund to buy adaptors.

Cold from me I'm afraid - awful company, as has been said, well worth a little extra for 5 year warrant from JL.

Would be a great deal if it wasn't from Pixmania. They are the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with

I thought it had been law for some years that electrical kit bought in UK had to have a moulded-on 3 pin plug! You bought this from a .uk site so you would have thought they should comply. Maybe I am wrong?

I Bought a 42 Toshiba LCD from Pixmania and they delivered on time and is a great TV.
I wouldn't mind another and this is a nice TV. Have the white older version and it is excellent.

Freezing cold due to this being Pixmania and for a few quid more you get it from a 'serious' company

£350 with a samsung dvd player and 5 year warranty too

Won't be voting.

I got screwed over a while ago for £228 because Cdiscount went bust. It made me reconsider where I actually want to buy electronics like this from.

If I were you I would get John Lewis to Pricematch the £309.99 at Richer Sounds.

Shame I don't live near a John Lewis. Instead I'll be paying £340 and buying from Richer Sounds in Leeds. Why? Because their 5 year warranty includes pickup, they have plenty of retail presence, and will be around in 5 years.

Pixmania are (pardon the phrase) retarded. Worst company I have ever had to deal with and I'll never put myself through the arseache of ordering a TV from them. In 4 years when my TV breaks it should be painless to get a new one from Richer.

You didn't quite get the gist of his compalint, did you??............. Why should you have to go out and buy a 3 pin plug and insulating tape to enable a brand new piece of not inexpensive electrical equipment to work???:x

Neither hot nor cold for me....good TV ...bad company...... so the moral appeasr to be get it from JL for a few quid extra ( plug and tape costs lol ) + a 5 year warranty from a top supplier.

You don't need to live near John Lewis - I ordered from Bristol JL store (over the phone) for £299 with free delivery in Essex (arrived 2 days later) - I don't home to link other posts but look for the one from last week on this.

Please be aware of the laughable customer service this company offer !!!
made the mistake of buying a tv off these last year which broke within the first 30 days and they were so poor Toshiba ended up stepping in to resolve for me thankfully otherwise i would have ended up with nothing from these charlatans!!

Thank you :w00t:

They tried to get me to send my faulty non flat screen TV which I had had for a month back to their warehouse in France at my expense (would have cost me over £100 as it was so heavy)

Finally got them to pick it up and refund me after 3 months, 5 registered letters, dozens of phone calls and Trading Standards getting involved.

Didn't realise they were owned by the Currys/ PC World lot, suddenly my issues make a whole load more sense :x
