Stop it with these Richersounds deals, their to good to miss, yet I live in the only bloody UK region that doesn't have a Richersounds shop! :p
#3
same here the other half keeps telling me we dont need a new tv
there is nothing wrong wih the one we got ( 28" weights a ton one) keep telling her we need to up date to LCD
she says WHY !!!
#4
don't worry you two as a REAL Richersounds deal never exists. Go to store and no stock there or anywhere.

There is a stock checker on the page for the product, there was plenty of stock the other day

I watch a range of LCD and CRT TVs. In my opinion, iIf you watch SD content, aren't fussed about TV depth (or it goes in a room corner) and don't need HDMI in, not replacing a CRT with an LCD unnecessarily is hotter than the cheapest LCD TV.

Yes they do! you just have to be fast they're popular & finite stock.

I just travelled an hour to my RS to buy this one's bigger brother the LE32C530 only to find when I got home they'd given me the B530, which doesn't have the USB media player built in... Still they're bringing me another on early next week/

Was the writing on the box correct or did you just not read it?
Genuine question.

Bit more info in the OP would have been helpful :)

Can you post a link to the review/description where it mentions the USB media player please. Cheers

Does the price matched store have to be within a certain distance from the Comet store your asking to do the price match?

Rang to check they had a C530 in stock, they said only an open box. Got there and the first one he brought out was in the wrong box & had a broken screen. Next one was the wrong model, finally came out with what he said was the right one, assured me it was a C - I missed the B on the box, but wasn't overly bothered because he knew what we were looking for & said he'd found it & it was open box. We were both muppets...

The usb media feature is only on the C & is called Connect Share Media. http://www.google.com/gwt/x?dc=gorganic&q=samsung+connect+share+movie+le32c530&hl=en&resnum=1&ei=8y0wTJj6KKWNjAfcvei6AQ&ved=0CAgQFjAA&source=m&rd=1&u=http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/tv-audio-video/television/lcd-tv/LE32C530F1WXXU/index.idx?pagetype%3Dprd_detail

great price, the 350 was this price a few months ago and the 450 has only recently hit this price too.
#17
This not having a usb port (as far as i know) is the deciding factor in me not getting it still hot though!
#18
I'd spend an extra £80 and get something like the Toshiba 32RV753B which has Freeview HD built in.

That is bull, all the offers exist, the problem is they are popular so sell out really fast. I have missed a few in the past, but i know this was in stock in my local as i was in there a couple fo days ago...

The same applies to alot of Tesco offers.

You snooze youu lose...
#20
Hot! But why can't you check stock online like you usually can on Richersounds deals?!
#21
£330 for 1080p Samsung with 5 year guarantee, red hot deal

£80 more for an inferior brand and at most a couple of HD channels, pass.
#22
with regards to earlier post we price matched with a newpaper clipping. The nearest store was arounf ten miles away so I dont think that counts. The man in Comets said as long as they had the product in stock the would price match
#23
Would rather pay more n buy from RS

comet suck when it comes to CS while RS are great

If you like Samsung then LE32C580 is a new model with freeview HD for around £430.
Currently terrestrial is transmitted by analogue, DVB-T (freeview) & DVB-T2 (freeview HD)... analogue is being switched off and DVB-T will be phased out. So if you're buying a TV in 2010 it's worth making sure it supports freeview HD to future proof it (which is why most new models have it).

its just the flicker that annoys me on a CRT even on SD, and i know you only spoke about SD but if your playing HD games the flicker makes text illegible
#27
I'm selling the white version of this TV, 32" 1080p. PM if interested :)
#28
why cant we check stock in local stores? going to have to ring up now :(

#29
