I know this was posted just over a month ago, but it has now come down in price. To get it at this price you need to use the code "VAT25" at checkout.

The best thing about this TV I think is the USB Media player functionality. It plays most of your modern media (including movies) :)

I bought it for 320 four months ago so it's an expected price I believe.

I suppose but the next cheapest I could find (and actually order) was £306 at Amazon. If you use "VAT25" code the price comes down to £288.59 and there's 3.53% cashback with TCB...

How come this deal is so chilly? Are there better deals out there? If so please comment as I've just ordered this and it would not be too late to cancel (and re-order (_;))

Excellent TV. I paid £254 @ Bestbuy after TCB.
#8
Yeah. I can't wait for mine to arrive on Monday. This one's about £278 after TCB. £254 is amazing. When I looked at BestBuy it had increased (and they didn't have stock)

Quality tv, the only complaint I had after buying (and it isn't even really a proper complaint) is that the frame of the panel looked very thin in all the shots I saw of it, not sure if it's just me but it doesn't look quite the same in reality. Not a big deal and the tv is excellent and that's all that matters.

TV looks good, but i've heard that any telly lower than 100hz, is going to have a lag issue as camera pans across, ruining your movie experience.

Being 50Hz, i'm not so sure about this one. Can anyone clarify please?

Thanks

APOLOGIES - IGNORE THIS COMMENT - JUST REALISED MINE IS A LE32B530 - not the one being sold here.

I've had this TV for about 15 months. I got it for about £280 after a 'new customer' offer and quidco cashback from VERY.co.uk. Personally I think it's an excellent TV, and if I was looking for one now, would still go for it. I'm fairly certain that it's 100Hz too, and I personally have never noticed any camera lag when panning across the screen. I've got a PS3 hooked up to it for Blu-Rays, DVD, games and iPlayer and really couldn't fault it.

I've never used the sound from it though. I always had it hooked up to my Hi-Fi instead, and more recently upgraded that to a surround system.
[EDIT] - I've just gone and tried the sound out on it, and was not very impressed to be honest. Sounded quite tinny and if I turned it up to mid-way up the volume scale, the bassiness of some people's voices made it distort. I'll defintely be sticking to my surround sound setup and not using the TV for sound.[/EDIT]

Definitely one of my better buys! 8)

sorry ben, but i think u've made a mistake...even your TV is also 50hz:-

Since i need a tv that is good for SD and the odd HD content (i've got another TV for consoles), I'm looking for something bigger 46"+ and must be smooth.

This is a frankly brilliant TV, HD looks stunning on it, SD is very good. Good price, so good find.

anyone know how long is the warranty period on this one? thanks!

Just a thought. This price seems to have jumped up as soon as this deal was made hot. Do you think Lasky's are monitoring this thread?

LE32C550 is delivered for £289 @ prcdirect; so don't think its a great price. That's the higher version of this one.

Wish I'd seen this earlier. Perhaps that's a good thing though as I can't really afford it at the moment though!
