Nice TV, I have this in the bedroom, paid £300+ the other month for it. Excellent picture, good remote, no buzzing, MKV & MP4 media player built in, full 1080p. The sound is excellent, really loud unlike the new led TV's.

The only possible negs I could say would be the silly tune it plays when switched on and off, can't find an option to switch that off.

You can turn the sound off, i did it on my old 46" c580 but can't remember. Try looking in the general settings.

As for the deal its only £5 more at dixons but amazon are 10x better IMO. If you would of brought yesterday you could of got something else to make it past £300 and then used the £30 off voucher.

Its still a good deal, i prefer the lg ld490 for a extra £5 and you get a few great extra features, freeview hd, netcast and dlna. Worth considering both.(LG is much better if you plan to use as a monitor at all.)

P.S Dixons ect Suck compared to amazon in my eyes. I think its the DGS or something group. I would rather pay extra and get it from amazon as dixons have ****ed me over in the past. On a tv return request.

Good price, but this TV must be the most popular on HUKDs, the various sizes been posted tons of times in the past 6 months!

'Menu > Setup > General > Melody > Off' - should do the trick (it bugged me too!)
