Still £350 plus elsewhere. Note that it has Freeview HD built in and 4 x HDMI.

Seems like a bargain to me.

Possibly better after Quidco (3%?)

Hmm this or the 530 with 5 yr warranty from RicherSounds for £296?
#3
As it's the same price at Amazon, personally i'd get it from there as they are much better with returns etc than DSG.

580 blows the 530 out of the water and back into the stone age.

the older 5 series doesn't have freeviewHD, so unless you see it so much cheaper the difference is the cost of a freeviewHD box (and the inconvenience).. the 580 is thus a better bet being newer panel and better video processing.

This looks very nice - how quickly are prices changing at the moment?

My brother fancies this TV and went into Richer Sounds to pick one up..they didn't have any. "The guy in the shop was telling me that only Sony TVs are capable of doing LOVEFiLM as part of the Internet TV, but says in the specs that these TVs would?", as he said, can anyone confirm?

Does the TV have an ethernet input? Thanks :) (Actually on avforums it says it does! http://www.avforums.com/forums/14078812-post624.html).

Rather than expire this thread I've reverted the title show product still available at the price originally identified and in stock at Dixons, as Amazon no longer have this available at this price.8)
