If its the same as my Samsung LE40R88BD then bear inmind that this TV will more than likely suffer from Audio Lag when your TV is connected to an external sound source via the red/white outputs on the back of the TV.

Mine also does this, the way i get round it is by turning the volume down on the TV and just having the external sound source.

Hi apples.

I've just tried what you suggested but the sound going to my external source seems to be processed quicker than the picture is, meaning that the words being spoken are heard before the persons mouth moves on the screen.

It is so annoying and I dont have any way of delaying/syncing this sound to that is in time with the TV's sound and picture.

That's strange mine is fine through external source (my hi-fi) no sync problems at all?!

I'm gonna phone Samsung tomorrow then apples as I'm trying to play the sound through my hi-fi too and the sound is definately heard through by speakers quite notiably before its seen on screen:(

My old Samsung 42" rear projection didn't do this though which makes it even more annoying.

Yeah i would ring them as well, i just tried mine and watched closely incase i never noticed the sync, but there isn't any sync problems, mine is the 40" LE40R88BD but i cant see the 3" making a difference

still nearly £30 more than if you go down the dixons/quidco.egg route...plus pixmania are renowned for useless if not non existent service etc...

Thats exactly the same model as mines apples.:x

I also have the Hannspree HDTV that was on HKUD just before Xmas, and hooked this up to my same setup, and guess what, no sound lag with that:(

Hooked the Samsung back up again and the sync issues are still there.

Its horrible when watching the likes of Sky News, etc, as the echo is really clear due to the sound coming out to the stereo before the sound coming out of the TV's speakers.

Been looking on some forums about this and Samsung's do seem to sufer from Audio sync issues:(
