Slightly better than average deal for a fairly unremarkable TV - don't forget an extra 2% in the Quidco style ;-)

anyone else know much about this?

i'm looking to spend between 500-600 for a 40inch+ tv for my xbox, any other ideas?

I think you can get the sony v4000 40" for £600 which is full HD. I have the W4000 which cost me near £800 in October. Fantastic for xbox 360.

This samsung is Not 1080p, but it is only £450 and is a nice looking set.
I had a 32" version of this which I sold, and a 26" version which I gave to my parents.
I bought both of them for peanuts in a Costco opening day.

I still have an old 26" samsung which I used to use for xbox360 and it too was fantastic.

Whether the sony is worth the extra £150 is up to you. One thing I have noticed with some recent Samsungs, particularly the 6 series is the input lag is longer than other tvs.
That can affect gaming.

Expired now, as it has gone up to £517
