I'd prefer to purchase a UK model from Dixons to be honest...Pixmania tend to be Euro imports. Good saving on Quidco if you don't mind though.

You can get the Samsung LE40A686M1 With free Samsung BDP1500 Blu Ray player for £799 from John Lewis. TV also comes with a free 5 year warranty:) May be some John Lewis codes floating around somewhere as well?
Not sure what the difference is between the two TV's though?

The only difference is cosmetic.

The A686 has a new-style slimmer bezel and a more subtle red tint (it looks almost black). The panels are identical and they both have the same connectors etc.
