Can anyone tell me how to add picture to the post? I tried to copy the picture in my hard disck and entered the path but it doesn't take it. What URL is it expecting there?

Hope this is still a good price in a month or so, cos I cant afford it till then!
A couple of great reviews here

Also appears to be available with vouchers for about £10 more from dixons or empire direct, maybe handy for someone as this deal is Saturday, Sunday only.

Great TV. This will be on the xmas list.
Have not seen one in the flesh, so to speak but that design is gorgeous, looking at the photo.
It will also be on my wanted at the best price list.
Voted Hot it
It should be mentioned also that delivery is £20.00
I actually have this exact TV. Its amazing! Such a good upgrade!

I put some pictures on Flickr if anyone is interested
Even tho it's now gone up in price to £863 I'm sorely tempted....
Not sure if people like/trust the large companies out there (especially with the typically unknowledgeable staff there!), but I noticed that Comet are doing a couple of what appear to be good deals...

Samsung 40" digital full HD 1080p LCD TV and Samsung 5.1 DVD home cinema system with HDMI connection

Samsung 40" digital full HD 1080p LCD TV and Samsung high definition Blu-ray player

Both at that magical £999 pricepoint. No idea if the players are good or not. Only noticed a lack of upscaling on the Bluray mentioned. No mention on DVD player, so suspect that it doesn't have that facility. Mind you, by all accounts the TV does such a good job with SD signals, upscaling on peripherals might be a mute point. Not having tried or seen it in action, I daren't say.

If anyones got a clue whether this is a good deal or an extra £140 wasted, let me know! (Oh and I noticed my local tesco had a nice Sony HDD / DVD recorder for £150ish that has 1080P upscaling, so that may be a better bet, along with the cheaper price in the OP)
Okay this annoys me somewhat as I posted a deal from which was £829.99 delivered, £5 voucher plus quidco, making it around £792 mark. It didn't get voted hot!

You should also note that it is now available at Dixons at £799.99 - 3% quidco - 5% EGG! Plus the opportunity to buy a WII for £129.

That makes it around the £730 mark. I have just taken delivery of mine, that was at a higher price but a quick call and they matched the new price AND let me have a WII which my mate wanted off me.

I was going to post this deal but thought I'd check around first and saw this thread hot and thought I'd mention it here rather than duplicate the information.

Can't wait to get it up and running, SKY HD being installed on Wednesday! :w00t:
