I know this is at John Lewis for an Extra £40 for 5 year warranty but wondered on how good the TV itself was and with eBuyer you can Buy Now and Pay the Rest in 9 Months

With immersive SRS TruSurround HD audio plus 24p Real Movie and Progressive Scan technology, the LE40B530 is your gateway to high-definition viewing!

The LE40B530 ensures excellent image quality thanks to Full HD resolution, and even has an HD Freeview tuner and DNIe+ technology so you can enjoy all your favourite shows in high-definition.

When it comes to connections, the LE40B530 has all you need for easy integration into your home entertainment setup, including 3 HDMi ports and the Anynet+ function for controlling all your devices with just one remote.

What's more, the Samsung LE40B530 LCD TV makes a decidedly greener choice as it comes approved by the European Eco-Label.

recently bought a tv from ebuyer, advertised as "box damaged" when I got it out it became obvious it had been used. The 3 part stand instructions were useless as it had been left in the 2nd phase of construction. There were finger marks all over the screen and it already was tuned in, no need to do any set up at all. Complained and got an offer of a refund but talked them into another 10% off instead. Not voting on the deal but won't be using Ebuyer again.

I'd pay the extra £40 just to have it from JLP and know it was decent stock

I'd go for JL. Reputable and free delivery! Just saw 6 of these LE40B530's in Sainsburys store, Straiton, Edinburgh for the £599.99 and was tempted there and then to load up the car. Glad i didn't....John Lewis here i come!!!
