Thanks for pointing this out.

£379.99 on Amazon

Having said that, only £360 for a 40" TV is mental!

Looks like there's a lot of happy Amazon reviews:

5 stars = 30
4 stars = 1
3 stars = 1
2 stars = 0
1 star =0

Lol, i had been reading that. Don't they get carried away over there? It's really quite scary how involved they get but i must admit, it is a place i visit a lot
#13
Thanks for the post. Bought one this morning. Don't forget Quidco too. Heat added.

Been looking at this but can anyone tell me why it says its full HD and it only says HD ready on the screen?
#16
Is this good for playing xbox 360 on? :)

Got to remember that's for the 32" version though and not the 40" as pictured in this thread. I can't see there being too much difference, but I wouldn't go purely off of that review as a basis to buying this TV. Might be best searching around for a few more reviews before stumping up the full price here.

I may buy it as a christmas present for my mother mind, since she could do with a new TV.

Guys, are there any vouchers I can use in store? I want this, but don't want to wait for delivery.

If you get one of their new brochures there's a code which offers you at least a £5 voucher towards in store purchase.

Was way too tempting :)

Returned the TV back to sainsburys which I brought 3 weeks ago at full price and got refunded Reserved one of these online got my self down to currys Used a 15million give away £5 voucher to pick a logitech (reduced from 16.99 to 4.99) usb media pc keyboard and used other voucher which I printed towards the tv and also managed to get the manager to give me a half price discount on the wall bracket got back home set it all up, Savings of loads basically , Thanks to Op who posted this Excellent :) and BTW it also plays all my divx archive directly from external USB harddrive YEY

Another thing to consider when buying this is any extras you may need for connectivity. I understand that it's all going HD, which is fine, but lots of people still have other tech that uses SCART connectivity. DVD players (maybe even VCRs?), Sky boxes, older consoles, whatever. This TV only has one SCART connection, so be sure to pick up a multiway adaptor if you need it.
#33
after a couple of weeks sweating over which tv to get my son for xmas i have finally ordered this one !! thanks so much for this...well pleased !
#34
Been after something like this for ages, quick question though are Xmas deals likely to be better?
#35
Questions around console performance on this tv always seem to go unanswered.

The review for the 32" version of this tv is great but the lack of information on this one means I remain tentative.
#36
Looks a good deal. OK so silly question folks:

How do you set up a wall mounted screen if the aerial socket and satellite socket is across the other side of the room?

Thanks - clueless in these matters

Also - it seems to be £379.00 now on the Currys website...?

you put in the save5 code and you save 5% !
#38
Also, can anyone find a decent deal on anything that costs £20? If so, just use the £25 off voucher and you'll end up saving more! Perhaps somthing like this hard drive -
320gbWD Portable HDD

After all someone previously did report that this TV plays divx without any problems. The total cost for this Telly and HD set comes to £394, and go through quidco for another 2.5%.

I understand that the HD is probably at a standard price (which is quite decent) but if you can simply make your order worth £400, as long as you buy somthing you need at a decent price you'll save more than just buying the telly with the voucher code posted by OP.
