They have a buy now pay in a year, and only cost 29.00, very tempted. but quidco and best buy dont match.

Still waiting on 7.00 from december
#3
Why don't bestbuy and quidco match?
#4
Because they never pay. or if they do, its not consistant, my experiance anyway, and seems others have problems as well

The Samsung UE40C5800 LED TV was £539 with 15% off in the clearance yesterday (expired today).

Topcashback is 8.08% but probably a long wait for the cashback.

not all led tvs are better than their lcd counterparts

I can't believe this is cold. Best price I've seen for this model.

Everytime the C530 is posted at £360-70 people chirp up that this model is "only" £50 more.

Good deal if you can get it - BestBuy's overzealous card processing system often stops you in your tracks. No wonder they are going under.

I find the speakers in LED TVs too weak, it's because they are so thin.

My thoughts exactly... I can't work out why everyone is hating on my deal!

Are you sure about that? Because I was looking at the 32" sets and the C5100 was in the clearance deal but the C5800 wasn't :(

No better 40" TV for £400, or £500 for that matter. Review here http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/news/samsung-le40c580-le32c580-20100728791.htm . 'Highly Recommended'.

Superb blend of picture quality & outstanding build quality. Glass stand, glass-effect bezel, metal rear casing, transparent bezel edging, red pinstripe at the base of the bezel. It oozes quality.

Unlike so many TVs, there's no panel or processor lottery with the LE40C580. It has the Valencia processor & S-PVA panel... no subscribers to the C580 thread on Avforums have reported getting anything but the S-PVA panel so far this year.

If you fancy one, snap it up while you can. No longer listed by Amazon or John Lewis. Being replaced by the LE40D580, however, it'll be a while before the price gets of an LE40D580 gets anywhere near £400.

The Best Buy returns policy is here.. http://www.bestbuy.co.uk/returns.aspx . Don't know if they are hassle-free to deal with if a problem arises.

Best Buy are slow to pay via Quidco, see here... http://www.quidco.com/best-buy ... e.g. 62% paid between 60 to 90 days.

UE40C5800 has the same panel & processor as the LE40C580. It's a lot extra to pay for similar picture quality. For best possible picture quality for your cash, get a Panasonic TXP42G20. £561 delivered from http://www.play.com
