Apologies if you have found this set cheaper elsewhere. This TV has alot of functions and connectivity and comes with decent reviews. For me, its a toss up between this and the C580 as I I need a good all-rounder. Sorely tempted at this price.

1stAudioVisual have very good reviews.

There have been some concerns about input lag but game mode is supposed to address that. However, this set may not be appropriate for hardcore gamers.

I've got this TV and its brilliant!
I bought mine from Costco about 4 months ago to get their included 5 year warranty.
I paid just over £600 for mine.
So this one with the 5 year warranty offer 1stAudioVisual are doing (£99.01) is a cracking deal!
I've not noticed any problemss with lag - but then I'm not a hardcore gamer so probably not the best person to comment on that.
This TV plus the Alphason stand @ COMET that was posted this morning (http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/comet-alphason-van720-less-than-hal/787428) would make a cracking addition to anyone's front room.
Possible 3.5% (£14.34) cashback as well from QUIDCO.
you wont get any lag playing games with this and by not using the game mode it is actually better (dont ask me why).
Bought this set as a gift for my step-daughter and her fiance as I'd been so impressed with my older samsung 40". He is a hard-core gamer and so far no problems at all.

Set is fantastic and having paid just over £600 from Amazon, this price is unbelievable.

If you're thinking of taking the plunge and upgrading then get one quick - this is a steal!

Almost tempted myself at this price.
Direct link.

Test of this tv which is pretty favourable.

I only needed a 32" so went for a LED model because of the £100 cashback but this is a very good price so hot from me.

Lag in game mode is 45ms. Lag in non-game mode is 95ms.
Very similar price to the Panny Plasma 42" S20B posted a couple of days ago (Amazon, £485).
not showing anymore
these prices for these tv's are getting insane!! great price for a great piece of kit!!
On the screen where the link now takes you is an alternative Samsung, a 42" Plasma for £438 (only a series 4 and I think they now do a series 5), and it does not boast Freeview HD like the Panasonic I mentioned in my earlier post, but still a great price for a 42 telly.

But I agree, there's a lot of good deals all of a sudden, Xmas anyone?

Shame it's expired.

I had this TV for a week and it was cr*p. Sound was terrible and the picture quality poor.

No matter how many times I tweaked it nothing happened. Then I started on the telly!
I had this same set for 1 day. The input lag was dreadfull. Tried with call of duty 6 and FIFA, both games were totally unplayable. Game mode helped with the lag a bit but motion blur was more noticeable when game mode was on. I got it from Costco and returned it the same day. I got a panasonic LCD instead which is better for gaming but still not good as the plasma tvs. I'll be returning the panasonic LCD before my 90 days are up and getting a plasma tv.
