Get the Sony Bravia 40" at £399 from SonyWorld...
Seems a bit too good to be true this....I'm off to Birmingham in a few minutes so i will check in there store to see how much this is...I suspect it's £'s £599 at the mighty richer sounds...
Sony 40" with Freeview HD £399 inc 5 year warranty at John Lewis
Just been to M&S and picked one of these up at £499 inc delivery, 5yr warranty and installation. HOT for me!
Can you let us know which Marks and Spencer store you have been able to get the Samsung C650 from for £499 please?

I went to M&S birmingham yesterday and they had none, I then rang Merry Hill and they had none but said you can order it within store and the price is £499.99 which is really good plus you get the M&S 5yr parts and labour guarantee!

I am undecided however between this and the LG 37LE5300 from Richer Sounds which is LED backlit, thinner and lighter and has a better picture...and apparrantely better sound. This is £499.99 but you then have to add on 10% for the 5yr cover...

I just don't know which one to go for...:-(

Hope that helps anyway...
Update -

Quit trying, After much looking around comparing TV's i finally decided on this one. I then rang Merry Hill and they say they are now out of stock and the price is back to £649.99.

One day I WILL get a HD TV!!! aarrgghh!!!
Gazngaz - Thank you for replying. I found the price was £649 at all the Midlands stores I rang which is a shame as the £499 is an amazing deal for C650!
