Just checked the price of 3d glasses on Amazon out of curiosity:

Over 80 quid a pair!!!! Am I missing something or is this crazy? For the prices of glasses for a family I can buy a decent 40" LCD on its own!

(Sorry if I miss the point, maybe once I have seen a 3D demonstration I will be willing to spend that kind of money...)

I'm gonna hold out for super hi vision, ok so its only in the early concept stages of development but maybe we'll be watching 4320p pics in the next 5 to 10 years. Hot deal though for a 3D TV and 3D bluRay player

why not?

I have this tv and i purchased it from amazon with a free 3d ready blu-ray player and i can confirm that there is indeed a pair of glasses in the box and at the time of purchase samsung were offering a free pair on their site with registration of your 3d product. 40" is plenty big enough for 3d content if you are sat up to 10ft away from the screen

Sums 3Dtv up for me

Stores are discounting them just to try and start an interest long after its release.

does anyone know if you can watch standard tv shows in 3d like match of the day for example coz someone said it will make any picture into 3d and just want to see if this is true

Thanks

you can convert any normal 2D TV to a 3D version and it does a pretty good job from what I saw, although football in general was the least impressive looking thing in 3D (american football, golf and some games looked v good).

There is none left now typical I was going to order one today !!!
