Bestbuy deal has expired, as have others, so this looks like the best deal at the moment for those wanting that bundle offer.

Contents
1x Samsung LE40C750 LCD 3D TV
1x Samsung Blu Ray Player
2x Samsung 3D Glasses (I rang to confirm this - it is the same bundle that others are selling)
4x Shrek 3D Films (first 3 with package + redemption form for the 4th shrek film (by 12th January 2011)))

PRICE
£779.00 is the instore price
£849.00 is the online price (you can get free delivery with this)

I got the same bundle from currys before christmas, that was £848 (-£60 voucher) and minus the 3% quidco, so was about £750 in the end. That went very hot but this is slightly more expensive,

CONSIDER
Selling the blu ray on ebay as I did as I has a PS3 for £110
Selling the Shrek Blu rays which you should get at least £10 EACH
Selling the extra pair of glasses which you could seasily get £50
THATS £200 OFF THE ORIGINAL PRICE - this is a bundle deal, so those waiting for this to go down in price, yes it will, but that wont be the bundle deal in my opinion. You can get the TV and glasses alone in the box for £707 on amazon, its this tv and glasses deal that will go down.

link is not working and you haven't mentioned the company

It bugs me when cold voters vote cold because the link doesn't work - THIS IS NOT THE FAULT OF THE POSTER - IT IS THE HUKD WEBSITE!

If the link doesn't work can you not wait a few minutes for it to be updated and then vote on the deal rather than vote cold simply because the link doesn't work?

Heat added for the effort and the good deal.

Shrek forever offer is over.

Great Deal, But I can't see where the 2 pairs of 3d Glasses are included!
#9
you can claim that extra free blu ray (4th film) by the 31st March 2011

provided you say you have purchased the bundle by 31st december. I claimed my blu ray back in december and they only check that you have a correct serial number from the 3D bundle

i rang them up, one pair comes inside the box as standard, and the other comes as an extra. They said its the same bundle as what everywhere else is putting together. Hope that eases your worry on that matter.

Thanks Kartiers, Cracking price.

I found this, on the samsung website "http://www.samsung.com/uk/shrek/?pid=uk_home_subbanner2_shrek_12112010"

the shrek deal has been extended until the 12th of Jan

I'm in the market for a 40" 3D TV and I'm torn! This is a bargain, however only comes with a 1 year warranty, with a purchase like this I like to know if something goes wrong after 12 months I'm not screwed, so places like John Lewis are ideal.

For a 5 year warranty with PCR it's an extra £321 on this TV.

I'm currently swaying towards the Sony Bravia NX713 or HX803 from Sony Centre.

Can get either TV, 5 Year Warranty (with Sony) & the 3D Starter Kit (3D BluRay Player, 3D Transmitter, 2 x BR100B Glasses & 5 3D BluRay Movies) for £1100.

The Samsung has it's plus points, the Glasses are half the price of the Sony ones.

Wouldn't not being able to get Shrek make this a better deal? :D

Good deal, but gonna hang on. These have started coming down in price as expected.

I like others want a 5 year guarantee to go with this package and can smell a deal coming on with M&S or JL.

Arghhhh, help. want a new 3DTV but not sure how long to hold off from buying, as iwannabeadored says above think a deal is due on these tv's., (What do you reckon Guys and Gals???).
#16

I love new TV's and normally jump straight in but not this time.

It's a great deal for the kit but I'm waiting for the next batch without glasses, yes it's out there but too expensive, Toshiba :3

Just think nintendo 3DS in a big way.

I had my first "experience" of 3D TV last week and to be fair it reminded me of those "pop up" kids books that you get...can't say I felt the need to rush out for that :D
#19
wait till next year when prices will come down 3d not that good anyway
#20
this is cheapest 3d package yet im sure these tvs will be £500 in the summer!

Sure but this is the package deal (which unfortunately expires mid january as the redemption for the Shrek 4th disc wont be available for free after that time - meaning no complete collection - as it states)

The TV (which has 1x 3D glasses in the box) will probably sell for less when its on its own for sure, but consider this anyway....

Selling the blu ray on ebay as I did as I has a PS3 for £110
Selling the Shrek Blu rays which you should get at least £10 EACH
Selling the extra pair of glasses which you could seasily get £50
THATS £200 OFF THE ORIGINAL PRICE - So if you want the original box deal, you could get it for a lot less than you can right now, never mind in the summer (provided you are certain of this), youll have six months 3D tv by then if yo ubuy now :)

Either way I think its a win win situation for whoever buys the deal

Heat added shame I've not got the money now but think the technology is too new for me to splash out on a 1 yr warranty anyway

completed search on ebay sees the TV with 1x glasses on average go for about £720

id hope youd want this deal for yourselves though :D
#26
I rang PRC on the 1st and they said it will only come with 1 pair of glasses.
#27
superb price, but as 3d tv's go i wouldnt buy one yet. the technology has yet to mature to the point where it can be fully appreciated. Great as a normal TV but guys hold out a few years as i can say with great confidence the best is yet to come.
#28
Don't waste your money. Wont be long before you can't buy these anymore. 3D TV is a gimmick. Picture quality is rubbish and like was said earlier who wants to watch a kids pop-up-book wearing stupid glasses in their own lounge.

I was the same couldnt wait a few more years and bought the 50inch Samsung deal at £899 from Comet at start of Dec

Nossa the picture quality is awesome. I have the samsung c680 plasma, the quality is top notch. Saying that ive watched 2films in 3d on it n i got it in october (i think). Played black ops n it in 3d n its poo.

No qualms about quality of tv though, In sd, hd or 3d.

i bought this package from currys last week for £898 with 2 sets of glasses, went back to currys today, and got them to price promise as this deal was cheaper, they also knocked 10% of the difference so i got it for £766, they refunded me the difference and i am very happy tv is brilliant.
Also sold the bluray for £110 on amazon as i have a ps3, so all in all £656 for the tv and 2 sets of glasses . My other half said 3D was a gimmick, but after watching avatar in 3d the other night she was very much happy with the quality of the TV. Brilliant TV
#33
wish I could get currys to price match, but PRC isn't within 30 miles of me :-( can you get the price promise online?
#34
Think they only pricematch online with large retailers not sure tho you would have to look on there website on the t's & c's of there price match.
On the other hand you could try John lewis to price match it as they will price match nationally but only if the retailer has a store wich prc have, Also if you just want the telly, richer sounds had it for £699 but very limited stock.
#35
dam ent it hot in here.
#36
why voting cold? still the best deal :)
