This will get voted cold but if it's useful to ate least a couple of people job done. I missed out on the recent Asda Samsung £299 and JL £345 deals for the 40" Samsung D503. Since then been searching for similar and came across this cracking Amazon Warehouse Deal for a Samsung D550 (model up from the D503) at only £260.46.

The listing states "Used Like New" and I received the TV this morning and came in its original box with all of the items still in their original packaging. I cannot tell the difference between this and a brand new one they look exactly the same but a lot lot cheaper. I registered the TV with Samsung and now has 12 months guarantee as standard. I guess there will only be a few of these, as when I ordered it stated only one unit but still able to order some more at the moment. I highly recommend the D550 over the D503 (which I saw in action at my local Currys/PC World). The picture is very good and the sound is also good, and lots of inputs. 1 Scart, 1 Composite, 1 PC input, 4 HDMIs, 2 USBs, 1 Ethernet to connect to your DLNA etc...
Hope this deal is useful to someone, as I was a bit nervous ordering the TV from Amazon Warehouse Deals but so glad I did, now have a cracking TV at a fraction of the price.

These are returns but it's hit and miss. I ordered a 32" Sammy LED tv for £184 that had to go back because it was faulty. Clearly, they didn't test it properly when it was returned.

Cons: Slow EPG and menus, narrow viewing angles, useless light sensor
Good luck with getting Samsung to honour that. Amazon Warehouse deals come with 90 day Warranty.

I appreciate the efforts, but reviews of different size versions are irrelevant. It'll have a different panel and backlight for starters!
Tempted but the 17cm depth of it has put me off as thin TV's are a lot more suitable for my wall mount.
Still, great price. Heat added. Crazy to think a few years ago we were going mad for 32" 720p telly's at £299.99!
