Not ink !

It's a very aesthetic looking printer with most mono features, especially the print resolution. But it seems to have a recurring paper curl problem.

Decent printer, no real complaints. The quality of scans is surprisingly decent and it has a hinged lid for thicker documents. Software is straightforward and works fine on a Mac.

Should perhaps make clear it's a mono printer?

The Samsung M2070W is not a bad printer, I paid £100 for it, but I upgraded to this Dell E514DW:

http://www.ebuyer.com/720900-dell-e514dw-a4-mono-multifunction-laser-printer-210-aehf

Which, at £65 is cheaper, supports double sided printing, has an automatic scanner feed and an Ethernet port which I find more reliable than the wireless on the Samsung M2070W.

This is a good deal! Does anyone have any recommendations / experience with budget colour laser printers?

I just bought a HP 177 colour multi function laser for a bargain £49.97 from Currys.

Quality of print is brilliant, but it is slow unbelievably slow. In fact I've gone back to my HP1102w which was £50 and full compatible toner just £7.50 from eBay which work well.

Is this normal for a colour laser - so much slower even on black print only!

Yes I'm afraid so if it's any consolation my cp3505 can only do 30ppm and it was like 8x the price, the only ones that have real high speeds seem to be oki and konica

this prints pretty quick for me, done about 5 sheets so far at random times and no issues with networking or print quality.

my first time going laser, which i did it sooner.

I went laser 2 years ago. I would never go back to cloggy claggy unreliable inkjets. How often for home use do you REALLY need colour
