A4 mono laser printer that prints up to 28 pages per minute, and can handle various paper types up to 220gsm thickness.

'Which' magazine mention it in their round-up of the 5 most economical printers to run (it's in the description of the Samsung Xpress M2825DW which is the more expensive wifi version)

Indeed, it's possible to find genuine toner for this printer that works out at about 1.3p/printed page (or 1p if you accept remanufactured cartridges).

Toner and consumables (so that you can check the price for yourself)
Can you get a second paper cassette for this? Looks a decent printer.
voted hot based on the reliability of the B&W and colour lasers from Samsung I've owned in the past (and they cost me over £200 each!)
Mono laser the way to go for home use. Cheap toner carbon lasts forever unlike expensive colour inks
Same price @ amazon
Same price @ amazon

Yes, I noticed that. But they only had 3 in stock when I first posted (2 now) so if many people wanted it they'd be disappointed.

i wouldn't say they were hat reliable though. I've had samsung mono lasers over the past 15 years. had 4 in that time , moderate to high usage

last one failed as the duplexer kept jamming. I replaced it with another samsung though. I know that's odd but my previous two samsung printers were flawless . I paid 45.00 for a new 3820nd from printer base. that's an amazing deal

for the money and cost per page you can't beat samsung mono lasers. Unlike hp, the toner you get is always more than the quoted amount eg on a 4000 page toner for one samsung laser I did almost 10000 pages
Wouldn't this Dell 1706 be a better option @ £99 del'd and 3rd party carts @ £13 a set Ebuyer
