when it comes to memory cards, would buy from Amazon directly rather then marketplace sellers.

Good price for GB..

I have some of these and the WRITE speeds are nowhere near the 45mb/s - 80mb/s compared to the SDcard version.

Getting 15 - 28 mb/s write max on various applications and hardware.

The READ speed is amazing, but when you are writing to the card from your hardware/phone/dslr etc and WRITE speed is important.. not so good.

Agreed, but other micro SD cards on the market (at least any sub-£20 32GBs) are rated slower or do not even give any indication of their write speed - possibly because they are MUCH slower. Otherwise they'd be boasting about it.:p

Defo Yaz, bit of a geek, so not sure if my silly tech testing would apply to many consumers who buy, but nice to see I am not the only one! :D

It certainly is not silly, matey. :)

Since these manufacturers are not being transparent enough, user reviews like yours are essentially what I'd refer to for real-world benchmark.

I'd love to see the utopia that these manufacturers were testing their cards in, really. :p
