does it come with a 'starter' cartridge?

The standard cartridge lasts 1,500 pages; you could go for the larger 2,500 capacity cartridge which costs more but works out a bit cheaper per page. £57.74 delivered from Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B002PE3PX8/

cant you get 3rd party ones? i have a HP laser printer and got 3 3rd party ones from ebay @ £8 each and they work perfectly

the last 4 i have used have also been 3rd party but @ £22 never had a problem (unless you count everyone wanting to print @ mine a problem because it's fast and cheap lol )
