It features integrated 2.1ch speakers, with a dedicated sub-woofer and SRS 3D sound effects so you always get smooth, high quality sound.

Price on website is £199.99 + £5 Delivery.

Tesco are running 20% off Laptops and confirmed once delivered the 20% will be refunded. Making it £164.99.

Cheers to wulliedufc for the refund heads up.

Price still £204.99 as some people are not getting 164.99.

It has 6 cell battery and processor N450 which is very good. I guess it should last up to 10 to 11hours. Tesco has written no bluetooth for this model and didn't write anything about webcam!! Could someone confirm what exactly the specs are.

gav1707- Is this the price including delivery? cuz on tesco website it is £199.99.

If this machine has webcam and camera then I may go for it but I am sure someone might come up with a better deal.

Yeah - the 204.99 included delivery.

On the Samsung website the Spec has a webcam and Bluetooth 3.0 High Speed

good price, im tempted but skint!

Only seems to have wireless g?(listed in features on Tesco website)
Matt screen. Not as vibrant as reflective, tho some people prefer it.
Battery life is the main selling point on this one I think.

Tesco has given the features information for the N145 Plus so might be worth checking what you are really going to receive before buying.

They also have got a offer running stating 20% off all laptops and netbooks. The price of £200 does not take this into account so I phoned and got £40 returned to my account so £160 for the item. I don't know if it will work for everyone but it did for me.
#10
Nice one wulliedufc!
#11
I just Tesco and she said it was a N220 unit I mentioend the lack of Bluetooth and she said that the specification list is imported from Samsung its a very good price
#12
He's right just purchased a N220 ( I hope so ) for £204.99 with a £40 refund which is applied an hour after the order has been taken so total price is £164.99 Looks good lets see what turns up
#13
can you explain this? you buy the laptop and then without doing nothing they automatically refund you 20%

is this what you are saying
#14
Yes I ordered over the phone . i was told she could not apply the 20% disocunt at the point of order however she would be able to do it after the order has gone thorugh the system which would take an hour . I will monitor my email if this deos not happen then it will be heading back
#15
do you need an accoun to order over the phone? can you send me the number please
#16
@wulliedufc - Top Shout. I just called Tesco Direct and girl said that she's leave a note on my account and once the Laptop is delivered call up and i'll get the 20% back i.e. 40 bucks refunds.

So really - £164.99. 8)8)8)8)8)

Well they didn't budge with me, I got an obnoxious-but-helpful guy who refused to accept what i was saying and insisted that the price already included the 20% discount. I said it should be made clearer and he replied 'it happens', so there. Will probably cancel out of principle.

just got of the phone and been told that is the price with the 20% discount, she double checked with a colleague and she was certain.

if you get the additional 20% off then you were very lucky

Atom processors are horrible. Make do for now untill netbooks with actual decent processors come out. These are painfully slow, even for web browsing etc...
#21
Plus 3.03% Top Cash Back - really want one but skint and missus won't let me :(
#22
there is no 20% off the price already includes the 20%
#23
Tesco are currently advertising 20% off on ALL Laptops, Netbooks and Tablet pc's..

Tesco Direct link

I'd be arguing the case on this one!

I've ordered and been told £40 back in 2-3 days :)
#25
I dunno why some are getting the discount and some aren't, It didn't get automatically refunded to me I had to call back in once the order had processed. What I would say is look at the other offers on the site. they all show the first price then the price after the discount. this one does't only showing the one price, thats what prompted me to phone in the first place. If you didn't get it I would phone again maybe speaking to someone else will help.

@Gav1707 I didn't have to wait until delivery just once it had processed
#26
Just got my £40 back, spoke to a really helpful and friendly woman.
#27
Was tempted by this but after reading the reviews by Reevoo on the Tesco Direct website, it's not looking brilliant. Scoring poorly on performance with a few customers saying how slow it is. Anyway, before buying I'd check the reviews

Battery life 8.9
Design 8.4
Performance 7.1
Size and weight 8.7
Value for money 7.8
Overall rating 7.9
The average score of 7.9 is based on 49 scores.

49 scores are from confirmed purchasers.

Ordered One Just now....@ £165 By the way any one received email regarding the 20%off...The guy on phone confirmed you get a email about the 20% refund...
#29
I got a call back 30 minutes later with the guy saying he followed up for me (as i'd asked) and was able to give me the 20% discount, result :)

I just hope this is the N220 with the same specs listed on the samsung website, it should be right. N220 means N220?

Just ordered and rang, once to be told that yes this is a misleading offer and the 20% is not off this, then rung again spoke to a lovely guy who says that the 20% is refunded back onto your card once you have received the netbook. Asked him if he was really sure as I'd been told something different by another very rude lady and he said she got it wrong, the money will be refunded. Have taken screenshots of each screen as clearly following the links of 'All Laptops & Netbooks', this one shows up as being included. A case for trading standards if they don't honour it!

Why the order email says your order is delivered direct from supplier who will contact you to arrange a suitable time for delivery...?/
[Travel Expert]#32
ashok, no idea but they must come direct. I always collect my tesco direct products from the store and I normally have a choice of about 7 stores, but it didn't give me an option to collect from store. Probably ring you to arrange suitable time, last time I had a laptop delivered (Amazon), the delivery guy left it in the wheelie bin - good job it wasn't bin day!!
#33
Well..I asked the guy if it is possible to deliver direct to the store but they said no....And he told i'll get an email in about an hour confirming the refund of 20%...Well I am decided not to open the box until I get the money refunded...so at least i'll be in a 28day peace of mind return policy...

Spec's some what similar, but the bluetooth still showing as 2.1, Ideally i would like to have HDMI slot also...

phoned up for the 20% off, response was "it is already applied!", I said it was misleading - his response "well the price has turned red so it means the discount has been applied" - I said; " how would i know that??" - His response " well its like in the store where you have the original price tag and the discounted one is yellow" - eerrr yeah mate cos i know all about your colour coded price tags - I might be colour blind - thats discrimination and misleading.

Extract from DTI code of practice: " 1.2.1 In any comparison between your present selling price and the last selling price at which the product was offered, you should state the previous price as well as the new lower price."
